  1. The manual pitch override also works great for throwing a solid curveball at your agressor when in defensive BFM
  2. Thank you very much for investigating! I am happy with the outcome.
  3. I dont think finding a new emitter without any prior intelligence on the go with TDOA should have anything to do with DTC, which my understanding is used in startup for pre planned threats only. 1. You and your flight is out on a mission and you spot an emitter with your HTS pod 2. As master in the flight you engage TDOA and signal your flight to start triangulating the emitter 3. Once you reach PGM1 you send the data to your flight with IFF IN long press 4. Now your flight members all have a steerpoint set exactly on the emitter aswell as getting a threat ring on their HSD giving them good SA on where the threat is 5. You as FL and master now have no steerpoint for the threat you have just triangulated, and you dont get any of that great SA on the threat position on the HSD that your wingmen enjoys. Is this truly the way it should be? Now i would rather that none of the flight members get the threat info then everyone but one...
  4. When using TDOA and finding a SAM, all other flight members get a threat ring on HSD but it does not happen for #1. I hope this is not intended, does not make any sense
  5. Hey, for marking with TGP you need to be in point track. After entering point track, press TMS UP SHORT agin to mark the location.
  6. The FLCS in the F-16 only auto trims in pitch, but does not in roll.
  7. I recently noticed in my screesnhot folder i had a bunch of cool F-15E screenshots of the MFDs at different moments. For the way i play DCS with the F-16, this would be perfect. I play in a group that has a very big emphasis on intelligence, were a tool like this is perfect to take a screenshot of lets say the TGP looking at a mechanized infantry battalion, with the grid on the TGP screen, would be great for debriefeing and retrieving intelligence. I can also argue that it is realistic. Thanks!
  8. I think being able to click the throttle to the cutoff/engine start positions instead of having to do the Rshift+home thing. Thanks!

  9. It could be that the Axis on the cursor has not been calibrated properly. I suggest you go in the software belonging to the throttle and calibrate it there. If that does not help i suggest you put a deadzone on the the axis in DCS.
  10. If its presets you are thinking of, you can select them by say if you want preset #5 on UHF you press COM 1 then press 5 and enter where you would put your frequency. You can also change it straight from the CNCI page if you dobber up/down to the V/UHF and press rocker switch up/down
  11. My technique was always to aim at the ground that the vehicle is sitting on. Works for me
  12. Check out «OpenKneeboard» for the last part. Its great!
  13. No its probably a later update to the F-16 then the 2007 version we have
  14. Paddle switch only temporarily disables the A/P.
  15. Im not trying to be rude or anything like that, no worries Just if you want to make the TGP look at the waypoint you just press TMS down twice. Then if you want to engage something in the air you can just press the MISSILE OVERRIDE switch on the throttle and you will have everything you need there, and when you go back to A-G everything you did there will still be there.
  16. The way you explain it, i dont understand how its any harder in the F-16
  17. Try a slow repair, might be the FCR making it crash since its quite heavy, but try a repair
  18. This always messed me up. Like if you are doing a low level toss attack and there is a mountain in the way of the target, your toss will br messed up and you will die. Cant be like that IRL
  19. Wait untill it flashes «RDY» then switch it to nav
  20. I have had this issue aswell. For me its just the launch sounds that sound like they are uneven.
  21. null
  22. If im right ED will be using RWR tech from heatblur in the F-16 when the F-4 comes
  23. are you on the same frequency?
  24. I really hope that "Correct as-is" was a mistake
  25. At some point close to 2000lb fuel, i have always felt that the FM just «jumps» and changes. Its like going from a soccer-mom car to a sports car, it just becomes a total machine. Dont know how i can prove this, but i think we are onto something there.
