Have you changed your setting in DCS menu AH-64D spezial tab for Detend in Lockout position? Maybe accidently by the Patch installed?

I installed today the latest OB Patch and did some flying with the AH-64D testing the FM changes. I really like the changes done to the FM, especially with FT interrupted while FTR pressed and hold. The AC is much more stable then and it makes maneuvering with FTR pressed much better. I confirm your detailed report, though haven‘t tried aerobatics with the changes, but will certainly try some loops the following days……

With the latest OB Patch update the frequency swap button on the EUFD does not work. I noticed also some other changes on the EUFD e.g. the Presets. May be the swap button functionality got lost while working on this?

Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe kann man damit beim TADS die Slew Geschwindigkeit anpassen. Das feature ist wohl neu mit dem aktuellsten Patch gekommen.

Yes, FTR is Force trim release. I have bound it to up on my 4way hat switch. When FTR is pressed SAS is deactivated, but you should press and hold it for 3-5 seconds. This way the SAS servos get full authority again. Otherwise. You will get SAS saturated quite fast. FMC Release I have bound to a completely different button for not accidentally releasing the FMC.

Ich bin sehr neugierig die Änderungen am FM zu erleben. Bisher habe ich eigentlich nur positives gelesen. Mal sehen was die nächsten Tage zeigen. Ich selbst bin leider erst am Sonntag wieder an meinem Flightsim PC und kann dann erst den neuen Patch installieren……

Robby fuel tank was in AH-64D from initial release. It‘s now added the possibility to leave it out and load 1200 gun rounds instead.

You should use the FTR button. Otherwise your FMC will not know your new center position. Which FMC should know. You will get problems when using the hold modes. I have a cyclic that stays in place as well and use it with the trimmer no springs option in the DCS special menu.
