Next level racing HF8 haptic seat pad & DCS
corbu1 replied to markturner1960's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Well, it‘s great they are working on integration into DCS, which I believe can be good market for them. I got my HF8 yesterday and I can say he is right. It works great with SSA! -
Got mine today…two days earlier as expected. I just set it up and did a first testflight with the Apache. wooooh…is that cool! A new immersive level! Seems to work great with SSA. Will also do some fine tuning the following days!
-
It‘s in PC Hardware and Software related @A.F. And @Tehrawk
-
We will see….just only know about the collective. Haven‘t heard anything in this direction.
-
Thanks!! Will do so…
-
Great News! Thanks for reporting. Mine will arrive on Thursday. I‘m excited trying it…..
-
Yep, really looking forward to the engine update. Hopefully we will see it soon!
-
Thank you for your detailed report! That‘s a beautiful project you are doing. you already mentioned the Total Controls KU which I‘m waiting for as well and will definitely purchase it. The MPD’s from them are great quality , so I also expect the KU as a good one! Tec Creations did already one, but looks not as authentic as the TC‘s device. The glare shield looks great so far. If you do the second top one as well, will you mount it moveable as this shield can be slided to the Plt‘s position?

Here‘s the actual link to the Apache Collective tease: https://forum.virpil.com/index.php?/topic/16326-behind-the-scenes-at-the-virpil-controls-hq/ It‘s only two pictures which seem showing a prototype of the collective grip……But that is already good news. As @Scott-S6 already said in other threads Virpil mentioned the release in Q3 2023.
-
Hello, Wow, looks very cool. Keep up the great work! How did you get the dimensions of the cockpit panels? Virpil teased first pictures of their Apache collective a few days ago. So chances are high they will release one.

Interesting thread. I have HT on since day one of DCS MT. I‘m on a 10900K and was wondering if HT is really that good. Before DCS MT I always had HT off. -
Same here, no curves on my controls. I don‘t like them…..
-
Yep, my wallet is prepared as well for the Virpil Apache collective! Really looking forward to it. Not Virpil related, but my next device then will be the Apache KU from Total Controls.

Thanks @Mars Exulte for your detailed feedback. Really appreciated!! I‘m really looking forward to the HF-8. Got message today that it is on the way and I will get it thursday next week. A few days earlier as expected. -
I tried Loops a few days ago…..and it worked. If they would fit in an aerobatics display from the astetics aspect idk I removed weapons and set fuel to max. 50% to save weight and being on the save side.

Thanks so much for these great news! I‘ve ordered mine a few days ago. I will be prepared then when DCS integration is ready. BTW: I like your youtube channel!

I have ordered the HF-8 two days ago and will get it about April 17th. I‘m looking forward to delivery and curios how it will work with helos in DCS. -
I love this beautiful drawing of the Helo pilot doing his job……Seen it several times before, but every time I look at it at makes me so smile….Tank you!

Next Level Racing Boeing Military simulator seat
corbu1 replied to MA_Goblin's topic in Home Cockpits
The NLR seat looks very nice and I‘d be interested in it. Biggest problem I see as well is the uncomfortable center mount. I‘d have to integrate a stick with a 400mm extension for use as helocyclic. But this seems not easy to assemble to the seat base. -
Wow, that is a super clever construction!! I‘m speechless

Ich freue mich auf die Sinai map……vielleicht bekommen wir sie ja bald?
