  1. Has anyone read the novel Debt of Honor? I did, my favorite Japanese tech in that book was the E-767's super advanced phased array tracking radar. I also liked its' ability to guide AIM-120 AMRAAMS onto targets, awesome. Almost too bad the Japanese lost in that book, I felt kind of bad for them.
  2. I'm not a fan of formation takeoffs or landings, with one too many experiences of collisions.
  3. Hey, have you checked out the SB forums? They are releasing a mod which will contain a gunnery module for the FV4034 Challenger 2 MBT with a couple of other new vehicles ( I hope ) In Christmas, 2011. Press release for the Chally 2 here: http://portal.smartregister.co.uk/cl...1&e=80&o=13353
  4. I always do straight ins ( It's what the training mission told me! ) . I might be able to do a pattern if I wanted, but usually, I just want to get to the fun part ( landing ) ASAP, so I just call the ATC, get a fix, fly to that point, and land using ILS.
  5. Mustang, what is your processor?
  6. Wow, where is the link to paulrkiii's original guide?
  7. No they were not, and I'm glad ED put them back! Are there x's in the HUD as well?
  8. O.K then...
  9. Hello, GG, does any dev know the JTAC's decision making process?
  10. Great stuff, but where did you find the original one that you stated was the source for the document that you made?
  11. Hello, I have a problem with the JTAC in the Sunset Sierra mission, and it is not that the JTAC doesn't respond to my initial call to him. Instead, my problem is that he doesn't send me any data. I have my JTRS switch ON, my Group and OWN IDs are set to 1, and he talks to me normally. I am flying with 1.1.0.8. Please help.
  12. this occurs in the Midnight Train to Georgia mission. The problem in Sunset Sierra is that the JTAC doesn't send you any data over the datalink. I think both missions need work from ED.
  13. hello, can anyone answer my question?
  14. Will the Shore and Devil's Cross campaigns, the ones from the file exchange actually work completely now?
  15. Sorry SUBS17, I wasn't very specific with my post, I should have stated that I didn't even have the original Falcon 4.0 before I asked that question... Anyways, is there anything on the internet?
  16. SUBS17, thanks for explaining, another question, is there a downloadable manual anywhere on the internet that has specific information about the HARM in OF? ( OF related, not RL). If so, tell me where. Thanks
  17. Yes, the check mark next to DCS A-10C is checked but where do I find an ACMI recording in Tacview once I have completed a mission in DCS A-10C?
  18. Hello, I just downloaded Tacview and I cannot see my flights that I have flown in it. I have the export scripts copied into the Config/export folder but it still doesn't work and there is nothing in my My Documents/Tacview folder after I have finished flying several, regular missions! Please help.
  19. I heard that Free Falcon was the simplified version, Allied Force was the most stable, and that Open Falcon was the most realistic. Hmm... requires an NVIDIA, so I cannot get the original Falcon 4.0.:( P.S, SUBS17, explain your acronyms!
  20. I checked out open falcon and it looks very interesting. The only problem is that it requires the original falcon to work. Does the original falcon work with win 7?
  21. Is the procedure for targeting the AGM-88 HARM in Falcon 4AF (vanilla) completely realistic? It seems like there is something missing from the procedure because it is just so-simplistic. Is there an add-on or realism mod for F4AF or is the HARM targeting procedure same as in RL? Just asking.
  22. Great job Viper, however I just looked at the manual and it says you have to press the send OSB a second time with the target set as SPI. Does your guide (If I am not looking closely enough) take care of this or is the manual wrong?

  24. You must be thinking of the AGM-62 Walleye.
