Like all "how do I map x" or "why doesn't my x work" the answer is the Thrustmaster Warthog. :smilewink: It's even on sale for 20% off!
I'm fairly certain that the TARGET software should be able to "when I pull the trigger first engage PAC then shoot" the problem is you don't always want PAC on the same amount of time and you don't always want to shoot after engaging PAC. Maybe try a modifier or something, hold Ctrl-Trigger = PAC then let go of Ctrl to fire? Or just buy the WH and live in a world where everything just works how it should. :)
Try Wags' profile. It felt the best for DCS of all the profiles I'd tried.
As for snapviews, you only really use them while on AP or on the ground so it's OK to take your hand off the stick to start them up quickly.
So, many, words. I have a suspicion there might be good information in that wall of text, but you really must present it better. :) Pictures, headers or different fonts, separate paragraphs, videos, charts - something.
I'd highly suggest the Saitek X-52. It's cheap for what it can do and is a great, fully featured and long lasting HOTAS system. It's the stick I've used for years before getting the TM Warthog.
For just a stick you might consider the Thrustmaster T.16000M. It's got nice sensors for such an inexpensive product.
Yes you need to load the included profiles.
Click in the Joystick column and load the Joystick profile. Do the same for the Throttle column as shown here:
The profiles are in:
Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C\Config\Input\Aircrafts\A-10C\joystick
Nope, the LAlt-C is a toggle. Press it once and moving your mouse will move the camera. Scrolling the wheel will zoom in or out. You can't however click anything. So you'd press LAlt-C again to interact with things. Possibly map the LAlt-C to an additional mouse button so you can do the move and toggle all with the mouse?
The TGP doesn't know that the tank is there it just knows about the ground. So you the pilot are looking at the tank and the TGP is "looking" at the ground behind the tank. To get around this shoot the target with your laser first for a second or two then designate the SPI. This way it's got the range and sets the SPI on the tank, not where the TGP thought it was looking.
You can see this concept in this video:

The real problem is all the people who bought DCS: A-10C off Steam last weekend when it was on sale. Install the game and are stuck with 1.1.0.9 and unable to play with the rest of us, or even see how many servers are available and will never know the difference.
There's nothing in Steam that tells you 1.1.1.0 is available, it proudly tells you that 1.1.0.9 is the latest version and that you're fully updated. If you didn't know about this forum you'd probably never know you can install the real product.
Buy the TM Warthog HOTAS system. Then you'll never have to change settings since everything will just work. Never mind the awesome quality, not having to map anything is worth the price. ;)
Here's a video that shows setting up AutoLase for a GBU-12 and dropping it on a target then dropping a GBU-38 on a bridge. I put both keyboard shortcuts and HOTAS commands for reference. Hope it helps. :)
He asked "My question is: Is it possible to make trimmer button always to activate trimming mode, even when after last trimmer release, recentering is not done?" and yes, it is possible, by not using CPTM. :)
Per the manual "trim release" isn't even a real thing, it's a gameplay concession by the devs anyway.
