  1. Ya, that's quite noticeable now at low speeds (less than 160) with any kind of bank, it gets nasty, but as Iron Mike mentioned before, at that speed, a gentle rudder input instead of stick works wonders, waaaay less wobble at that speed.
  2. I've been trying it out for the last few days, so far, I like it, she's overall pretty good. There's a few calls she makes that I noticed that maybe don't have the appropriate level of "urgency" in her voice, although I can't think of an example at this moment I did notice it in game thinking, "Well, I woulda thought she'd be more concerned about that than she sounds", but at this point, I'm happy to keep her back there, she's also a little less intrusive than Jester at some points (probably for the exact same reason, only in reverse, sometimes Jester needs to calm down too ). Nice job, big job, well done!
  3. Already reported. They know.
  4. Does it not automatically switch back to off once the engine catches (either side)? What is the "by the book" need for a manual option?
  5. "Tower, Gunslinger 2-1, I think I'm gonna make the runway this time, please hold all the Hornets for 06R." 2 minutes/80% of a circuit later.... "Tower, never mind, you can let 'em go now."
  6. I don't have this issue in MT or ST. For me, the adjusting symbols only appear when I move my cursor over the mirrors... but I'm also pancake.
  7. So you don't like the added realism... but you want more added realism?
  8. Speaking of which, any idea when it will be off by default again (when button is selected) in MP?
  9. This implies that there are times when you fly something else. Why would you do that?
  10. Does that option only work in single player?
  11. Wow, I just tried that, and the difference is night and day. Using the rudder is a lot smoother. Can you explain why those 2 inputs have such different reactions? (this probably isn't the right place to ask that)
  12. Don't worry. If you're forced to give up your jackass title, there's a few others on the forum that are still actively competing for that prize.
  13. Maybe work on your reading skills instead of your typing skills... peanut.
  14. No, it's just math, and it was explained above.
  15. Yes we do.
  16. Same for ships, found my carrier group, through the clouds at 30,000 ft, visually!
  17. Yup, there was a GIF around somewhere showing the various new look-options, basically, it's just a dynamic update to the cockpit graphics as I understand it. It seems that IRL those buttons would come loose after a while and squadrons created various techniques to make sure those buttons didn't rattle around and fall in the lap of the pilot at some inconvenient time (which I would think, is ANY time! ).
  18. Running multithreaded, I have a couple of screens exported to the second monitor. Looks normal in the single thread (see attached), but gets completely unreadable when running multithreaded (see attached again ). (I moved from a horizontal to a vertical monitor stack, hence the pic differences) It seems like the instrumentation isn't refreshing properly, and it just continually writes over what's already showing, without removing it. Also, there's some strange yellow and black behind the pilot's head in the mirror (see second pic for that as well). Didn't know I needed it, but loving the adjustable mirrors! nullnull
  19. I found that if you tick the setting, "Synchronize Cockpit Controls with HOTAS Controls at Mission Start" in the Misc. settings, that your HOTAS should sync up without you having to do anything... however, I did have to turn it off, since hotstarting in a couple of missions put me in a field before I realized my throttle wasn't at idle, so... there's that.
  20. *ALL* his examples only show F110's. I think maybe he was flying an A, and saying it doesn't sound like a B. That's my point. (and please, don't say something dumb like "But the video is labelled as an F-14A!"... yes it is, but look at them, and if you look at the one in the hangar behind it (around the 14 min mark), that one is ALSO a B I think. I think the video might be mislabeled.)
  21. I could be wrong, but going by the engine nozzles, those don't look like T30's to me, they look like F110's (ergo F-14B's only).
  22. Thanks, must have missed that whole thing somehow... still kinda dubious about getting some of that 2015 stuff though (just cuz some of it's probably still in the air or was recently, and that seems like it would still be classified...), this looks like a roadmap, not a guarantee, but I'll be happy to be wrong here.
  23. I haven't seen anything about a 2015 version, that feels massively unlikely to me, surely those electronics and some weaponry are all still classified and therefore won't be coming into DCS anytime soon, no?
  24. Does Jester turn it to RPT when needed?
  25. Nope, but I can recommend a good optometrist for ya. I never told anyone how to spend their money, despite your attempt at mock outrage/concern suggesting otherwise. Also, if you think putting aside [less than] a hundred dollars over the previous 6 months that we've ALL known this was coming, at my age, qualifies me as "so well off", then ya, I am I guess. Lucky me. Maybe someday you'll be lucky too.
