  1. Hi There are several flags on the HSI (3 at last from memory). Which one(s) are displayed?
  2. Did you try to refuel yourself, wernst? The "jumps" are not time-related, but regular DCS code side effect. ;)
  3. Hi IRL: only one type of AG weapon. Or the 530. Simple :) No box to (un)bolt, but computer limitation nonetheless. In DCS: a bit more possible. But then I like to fly "as it should" so I can't elaborate.
  4. Hi BritTorrent, I'm afraid there is not many public data except what you'll find in the manual linked above (which is about an older M53-5 version of the engine, we have the M53-P2), and what is (will be) in the DCS manual. OTOH, with its big fuelmeter, the aircraft makes it ~ easy to figure :) For climbs, you may use those numbers (they're not the actual ones, but the "simpler" ones used by crews when they don't feel like digging in books): - best climb speed for full A/B climb: 0.95 (clean aircraft) to 0.90 (big tanks+2 magic) - best climb speed for MIL climb: 0.90 (clean aircraft) to 0.85 (big tanks+2 magic) By the way: This one is easy to figure out: Full A/B is mandatory to take off in this aircraft, up to 250kt (light aircraft) or 300kt (heavy aircraft). :D ++ Az'

    Intercept link

TEL never made it to active service IRL. It was ditched shortly before aircraft entered active duty, so was never used.

    @ ViFF: correct :)
  7. Got them now. Refer here :)

    Checklists

Hi Toertchen, VampireNZ made me aware of your addition of a rotation speed table. Nice job as always :) but missing accuracy, sadly. :book: Perhaps you could update it using the following values? (speed = rotation) Clean aircraft (full internal fuel, guns loaded): 10.9t - 120kt A/A aircraft (clean + 4 missiles, center tank): 13.1t - 125kt A/G aircraft (clean + 2missiles, 4 Mk-82s, wing tanks): 15.9t - 150kt I don't know why the difference in weights. Perhaps the guns shells for the clean aircraft? (125kg/275lbs) Also note that 160kt is +/- the uppest rotation speed you'll get (at MTOW, standard conditions). ++ Az' PS: perhaps is it best to wait for the next FM iteration to change your document; given how badly the aircraft perfoms for now when it's heavy and at low speed, I get why your table gives higher speeds than it "should".
  9. It was a simple observation :) And the chart didn't exist when I answered more than 1.5 year ago ;) Thanks for the link anyway, I shall inform Toertchen! My understanding is that the flight manual is being revised as we speak (announcement from Baltic Dragon). As for myself, as I said no chart available sorry. With VampireNZ's indication that curve should be straight, with 2 weights (empty+A/A) and two speeds, I guess something could be done. I can also provide a 3rd datapoint: 150kt for 2x Fox 2s + 4x Mk-82s + 2x wing tanks. I haven't the weight available now.
  10. Woops. No you don't. As per topic title, I didn't envision TO was included in your question :D Yep.:) Too bad it's not accurate. As jojo said, MTOW = rotate @ 160kt. A/A config isn't MTOW (far from it); in A/A config, rotate at 125kt. And you would never rotate past 200kt, as the max speed for the nose landing gear is slighlty < 200kt. (Also I'm not sure it's a straight curve, never tried to display it graphically)
  11. None that I'm aware of. But then, in this aircraft, you don't care about speed for landing. Only about AoA. if you're within weight limits (and you should), fly the correct AoA and glidepath. Speed will be OK.
  12. Indeed. :) Damn phone and its little keyboard. Your assumption was correct but, as I said, only for mode 1. And if you search how this one works, you'll soon get it. Following the lines seems a good idea. There are more of them, plus the mode selector stops.
  13. No you aren't right. G/D is for mode 1. And yes, (quite amazingly) the mode selector selects the mode. (sorry, couldn't resist :D)

    CAS K1

K1/K2 is a mistake due to incorrect documentation. This button should have S/P as the other ones. Razbam is aware of this.
  15. Agreed  :)
  16. Outdated information, sunski34. BRM for older RDM Mirage. MICROB for RDI Mirage.
  17. I don't think so. Other conditions yes, this one not.
  18. Correct. But the switch is in fact labelled ANEMO short for Anémométrie which means that it triggers air data sensors heating, not "just" pitot heating.
  19. Obviously this can't be done yet, as there is work remaining to tune just that ;) OTOH, I'm sure you know of other sources which are not to be named around here. :smartass:

    Radar Filter

Until precise test points and data are provided, we won't be able to tell, will we? BFR should have reduced range for hot targets BFR should be able to see low range cold targets (~iso speed) that HFR will drop BFR shouldn't allow lock.

    Radar Filter

Last time I checked, PRF definitely had effect in the 2000, as expected.
  22. Skitter's irony was obviously lost in translation... ;)
  23. Nope, sorry.
  24. In DCS, the memory alignement works only for a "re-start" after a rearm/refuel. That means you have to maintain power to the INS, otherwise it's not a re-start, but just a start. Did you do that? (=GPU on before switching off the engine). You also have to wait for the rearm/refuel to be finished before switching to ALCM and pressing [VAL]. During the rearm/refuel, you can edit point 00 coordinates, to make them more accurate (i.e. cancelling any drift you had when you landed).
