Waypoints in 2.2 NTTR Totally wrong after full INS align?
Azrayen replied to Nealius's topic in Resolved Bugs
My guess would be that this is not accurate description of what happened. Been there, done that. Retry, perhaps?:D -
The letters don't rotate anymore. New system (a few years back), now letters from military registration are tied to civilian registration (not painted on the aircraft), so tied to the airframe. So it's not anymore possible to mate an aircraft with its squadron using the first of the two letters of the military registration, as was the case before. OTOH, you can say from where aircraft came from: Lx aircraft were formerly at Djibouti for example. FWIW here are existing 115-Lx registrations, provided by a friend (Cpt Stark). BTW, BD is aware of that for the next campaign :) Registr. Serial Status LE 079 Stored LI 080 Preserved (Canopy) LB 081 Active LK 085 Active LL 086 Stored LA 087 Stored LJ 105 Active LC 108 Active LD 117 Active ++ Az'

Also PCA (only) may not be the limiting factor ;)

I concur, it won't change anything in the M-2000C cockpit. Some DCS aircraft may see changes depending on this setting, but not the M-2000C. Good news, the revised manual by BD certainly will make it clear :)

+1, the "circle on the radar display" and the unability to launch anything strongly suggests that you activated the POL mode Adixylian. So, not a bug but a feature. ;)

/bump A little reminder, with an "how to" pic from the ME, cause I still see so many screenshots of French aircraft with default DCS regs... which are not "believeable" sadly. Let's take the AdA Cambresis (one of the stock liveries) as an example. As Zeus said: So we need to input: - the character following 103-Y (or in our example following 12-Y); it MUST be a letter to be correct; it will be displayed on the sides of the cockpit. - the 3 figures of the serial # ; they MUST be numbers; they will be displayed on the fin and on the front gear door. The attached screenshot shows how to do it. Some values inputed are not used on the screen (i.e the first and 3rd characters) but they are needed as placeholders in Razbam's system. Happy flying! Az'

I added a "how to" pic just above; and will post it in the dedicated thread too. Now, keep those wonderful screenshots coming!! :) /talking ;)

Hey steele6, Those are very very nice, Kudos. One thing: you shall think to set the registration so that it's "believable". French military registrations are 1 to 3 numbers (wing or airbase #) then a dash then 2 letters. Never numbers in the end. By default DCS writes 001 for the first aircraft in a mission => not good for French M2000. Just write AB-123 in the registration field in ME and you'll be good. :) Regards Az' [edit] added example screenshot :)

Would anybody provide a track? I guess that would help Razbam to reproduce first, then understand and finally fix this (if needed). I never encountered this one and am currently unable to fly DCS.
-
Just in case: What matters is the mission date in DCS. Not the actual, real life date. So you may change mission date at will, to circumvent the bug, until it gets fixed.

There are several (5 actually) operational limits (hence the LIM, BTW) that when outreached trigger the LIM alarm. It's not implemented now (only the 3D part has been done), but it's known by the devs.

Left (or any) wing breaking off when pulling high Gs (G-limiter off)
Azrayen replied to D4n's topic in Resolved Bugs
Also, the right guy posted a few days ago on FB: "Okay folks. I am back on the ring after our holidays vacation. Today I will get myself up to date on Harrier and Mirage stuff so I can schedule the work" ;) -
Or simply update the livery to make it compatible. IIRC it's just some lines to add to a .lua file. With a bit of research, you may even do it yourself, it was discussed on this forum.

Pas du tout. Il existe des appareils dont la roulette de nez est libre, sans dirigeabilité. Le Hawk, l'Alphajet, le MiG-15, le L-39...

The promised "bunch of others": 3x refueling, 1x maneuvering in formation, 2x landing (nice and not-so-nice weather) :D
-
Hi, Follow up on jaguara5's remark about the close formation, here are two screenshots showing the correct position (from the wingman's cockpit and from above). Plus a nice 4-aircraft formation above the haze of Gergia: To follow: a bunch of other sreenshots, showing various situations (air refueling, maneuvering and landing), that may be included in the manual. None is pretty enough IMO to make the cover, but that's not the point ;)
-
Good:) It seems you forgot (I didn't see the video yet) about vertical staging, the first parameter for a close formation flight: The wingman must see both the upper and under sides of the wing of his leader. étagement, retrait, écartement (in this order) :) In English (my translation, sorry if not the most appropriate): vertical staging, longitudinal spread, transversal spread (side distance)

No "bing bing" sound in Mirage in multiplayer when ext. fuel tank empty?
Azrayen replied to D4n's topic in Resolved Bugs
Well, switching this On is supposed to be done before line-up (i.e. after taxi, at the holding point). I do however agree that it could be included in the auto-start. OTOH, there are a bunch of more pressing issues to be addressed first, IMO.
