  3. First of all, you are right, if you pickle, only 2 bombs (one from each station) should release. However, the second bomb on that rack is not linked to TOO2 by any means. The whole dual rack got programmed for TOO1. So the only way I see, that the second bombs were released also is if you accidentially pickled twice while you were still in LAR. Or maybe your controller sends multiple weapons release signals? Other than that it would be a bug. Could you reproduce the behavior?
  4. @CM2024 Why would you want a feature that is not realistic in the first place?
  5. That depends on the WW devices the OP is using. If he uses the UFC, ICP or the MIP displays, then SAP is very much required to run, otherwise you won‘t get anything from DCS to display on those devices.
  6. Because it doesn‘t with a Quest.
  7. The GPU renders the image for your VR headset anyways. Since this is usually done at a higher resolution than the image on the 2D screen, I don‘t think it makes a difference. The „crop to rectangle“ is only really important if you want to record footage while in VR (and use it for a video).
  8. Good to know. Never used it really.
  9. @Foka yes, but that‘s an external use. I use DCS-DTC which also uses it to initiate the upload. But of course I see that your described case uses it in it‘s intended function.
  10. And the I/P button doesn‘t do anything either… Just use them to something at your convenience. Calling up the kneeboard for example. Dimming exterior or interior lights etc… I have the WW MIP as well…it‘s really great.
  11. It‘s not like an NDB. It only shows you the direction of the station you are talking to. On position 1 for radio 1 and…you guessed it…likewise for radio 2. So if you dial in the correct radio frequency for an airfield, you call them and they reply, you should see a small circle appearing on the compass ring of the HSI indicating the bearing to that station. It will disappear when they stop talking though. One might want to set the heading big as a reminder there. Thinking of it now…I have never checked, but what frequency range are those DF that you mentioned? Maybe you could dial them into the radio and have a permanent bearing indication?!
  12. @ex81 @ drücken und dann anfangen den entsprechenden Namen zu schreiben. Dann erscheint eine Dropdownliste bei der Du dann einfach auf den entsprechenden Namen klickst.
  13. Maybe recheck the nut on the other side and if it‘s properly seated. If you could get rid of that tension that bends the rear part up then I would think that some superglue will fix that problem reasonably well. Also, have you sanded down the afterburner detent? It looks very worn…
  14. I know this is not the point, but I‘m really wondering why that thing broke there. There is not much force acting downward upon it. From the picture it looks as if it was/is under some tension. I‘ve got mine for more than 2 years now and all I have to do is to re-tighten some screws every once in a while.
  15. The Thrustmaster MFDs are just the bezels, there are no actual displays. A while ago there was a thread where someone showed a method where you kind of „hack“ into the BIOS (or CMOS or whatever) of the respective displays and thus can turn it brighter. I‘m relatively sure it was either here or the Virtual Reality subforum.
  16. @HanuXXL Have you entered the elevation correctly? Not sure right now, but I believe the ruler shows true bearing, the system in the Hornet uses magnetic by default. Depending on the magnetic variation the difference might be significant enough.
  17. Well…the whole discussion is kinda pointless without looking at the FPS. And like others have pointed out, it is rather unlikely that you can manage to have 90FPS near to the ground. And if you don‘t match the HMDs refresh rate (90Hz->90FPS), you will have stutters…more or less.
  18. I just checked it myself and came back here to "confess"...
  19. As someone with a military and aviation background, I find that very odd. I‘ve never heard or seen anyone breaking up a bearing in something smaller than a degree. And it‘s even weirder to do it in minutes and seconds. What would be the actual use case? Where would you get bearing information from, that is that accurate? Anyways…it isn‘t gamebreaking…I just fill in the zeros…
  20. I thought so as well…but you never know. DCS and VR can be weird sometimes.
  21. Never heard of such problem. Maybe it has to do with your 120Hz screen and the fact, that you have DCS limited to 109FPS (why?). Do you have V-synch on?
  23. Did you limit your FPS somewhere? In the DCS settings or nvidia control panel? Are you sure you have your G2 set to 90Hz and not 60Hz?
  24. It is. But before OpenXR was a thing with DCS you had to use WMR AND(!) steamVR. And that was nothing to be jealous of…
  25. I told you what they said. I also gave away the caveat that they haven‘t flown in DCS for a while. I also gave you THEIR explanation, why these things feel a bit off in DCS or simulators in general (even the million $ military ones). You make it sound like you think that I just talked to my imaginary pilot friends…
