  1. Also, why no mods allowed? I have glass, nvg, and dot mod. It's a PVE server, so why is IC ratcheted up so high I can't join with those?

  5. Oh god, please don't make it louder. Already have to turn it down in the Viper.
  6. I did get it to fully refuel the center tank. I did have less than 2,000lbs at landing.
  7. I think I tried that before and it doesn't fill them all the way up. has that changed?
  8. This will actually refuel tanks? This is implemented? It's usually easier to just drop them though, since you have an unlimited supply. Also helps to be light if you get pounced.

  11. It does seem like there are different standards. Sometimes it seems like the Hornet team and the Viper team don't talk to each other. Ironically, that was probably true back in the 70's and 80's when they developed the real life meatspace jets.

  13. Someone mentioned the Hornet pilot handles G's better, and um, I did a Maverick. Juuuuuust started to black out. Nothing before pulling the paddle switch. Not even tunnel vision when sustaining 7+. It's funny because the Viper is the one that is supposed to allow higher G tolerance with the reclined seat. Again, just asking for a little consistency here! EDIT: also, had to do that vs a MiG-21 in a BFM gunfight. Yeah. nullMaybe I should start posting in the Hornet bugs forum, because look what I pulled keeping from hitting the ground and the screen barely faded.
  14. Again, no consistency. Aren't there already API's on the back end that set all this up and make it relatively easy to implement? I hope they're working on it, but you say "wishlist," not "roadmap".
  15. Ha, I wound up setting it the exact other way around. Oh well, too late to change now. Muscle memory and stuff.
  16. Sorry to drop in here a little late, but since I have the Su-33 from Supercarrier, will I be able to run with mod, or do I need full FC3?
  17. Speaking of, but maybe slightly off topic: are we ever going to get DL info in the Viper anywhere near like what we get in the Hornet? Is that really all we should be seeing? It's quite lacking. Not even aircraft type and such from the AWACS? Are they not the same or similar helmet in the same time period? The Hornet is just that much smarter about some things? The way you don't have to boresight Mavs or can change the laser code on the fly when using the Hornet implies inconsistency between modules.
  18. My mistake. I thought that was uncage. Where is that IRL then?
  19. If TGP is SOI and you hit uncage, you go into LST mode. Do you mean expand or something? We all have different control setups, so it's better to use the command name, not "pinky switch".
  20. Uncage, like for LST? Does that do something different if you have GMT radar as SOI and a target selected? I seem to remember the TGP having trouble with moving SPI from radar and the function not being fully implemented yet in game.
  21. Ya know, the more I fly Sedlo's BFM trainer mission, the more I guess I'm seeing what you guys are seeing. More than a second or 2 over 7.5G and the GLOC can come on fast. If our pilot is supposed to be a frontline Viper pilot, then training and adrenaline should keep them from blacking out as easily as they do in DCS. There is probably tunnel vision at those G's, but not like we're getting.
