  1. Please bring back whatever AA is needed to make my cockpit look better. It's actually hard to read sometimes. On a 27".
  2. It's especially bad when switching from F10 map back to cockpit view.
  3. 11th gen i5, 32GB DDR4, 1080ti. 1440p. No VR, regular 2D gaming monitor.
  4. Everywhere. And settings haven't changed much from what they were in 2.8 where Syria was ok.
  5. I was having the same problem. Is that why I couldn't get TDOA to work with my squadron? I know in the Hornet you have to select the right radio once you're off the ground, do you have to do that in the Viper now too? Wingmen weren't responding at all.
  6. LOL, is Link 16 somehow copyrighted?
  7. Basically unplayable right now. keep getting huge fps drops. IDK what info to give you other than it's not fun.
  8. Sooooooooo, all upscaling does for me is make things in the cockpit look blurry, while the original problem still remains. This is all very disappointing So far the most noticeable thing I've gotten in 2.9 is crappy text in my cockpits. Nothing else really works as advertised either.
  9. nope, no problem there. Little bit of curve and deadzone. X56 if that matters.
  10. That's what I'm running, I think. I have a 1440p G-sync gaming monitor with some of its own sharpening and it's 16:9. 144Hz, allegedly. Or would be if I got anywhere near that FPS, lol. I changed the shortcut on my desktop to make sure I'm always launching the MT version.
  11. I have never noticed any input lag. That seems like a hardware or Windows issue. Make sure the game is running in high priority. It shouldn't matter, but it does. I know people get control ghosting from unpowered USB hubs, but maybe any hub is bad? I'm not using one.
  12. .33 sharpening so stuff isn't blurry: nullthe graphics in the cockpit are kinda ruined for me.
  13. FSR scaling max, no sharpening: null
  14. Even with additional AA from Nvidia Control panel and messing with the scaling and sharpening, there's nothing I can do to not make the cockpit lamp or mfd text not look like garbage. I can make everything else blurry or too sharp, and maybe FSR helps a bit, but that's it. Something is wrong with the graphics engine. null You can even see it if you look closely at the parking brake handle in the Hornet. It looks jagged: null
  15. DSR on 50% sharpening. Too much soft focus without sharpening. Lamps with text still look awful: null
  16. see edit above Ok, got it on. Now things look blurrier, but the lettering still kinda sucks null
  17. I should be. It MT beta is selected in Steam. Is there another way I can verify while in-game? I will verify MT then see about that regedit. Edit to add: Ok, that's weird. If I launch the game from the exe in the bin-MT folder I now have those options. Have I not been using MT all this time? I may have messed it up once recently running it from bin, did that change it? Like I said, I am losing my mind over small details.
  18. You're flaring before you land, right?
  19. It is also grayed out for me. Can't select it.
  20. Just double checked, and I cannot select FSR. I can use DSR in the Nvidia control panel, but no FSR in-game. 1080ti. Need any other info? Only MSAA available for AA.
  21. Is it possible having SRS installed is messing with it? I didn't have it running for some of those tests though.
  22. I do not have that available. Which is odd, since a previous poster said they had it with a 1070ti, and I have a 1080ti. I'll have to check again. Between this and a new ticking on my mountain bike, I think I might be losing my mind. Then again, other people have this same problem, so maybe I'm not crazy? Well, not for this reason.
  23. What I have is my mic's volume slider just jumps around when I click test and I can't really hear myself more than a buzzing. Testing in Windows is fine. I haven't touched any of the in game VOIP audio settings, so they should all be default. It's an old Microsoft web cam I also use for face tracking, if that matters. The only complaints I ever get with it is that I sound far away. But I am kinda, so, yeah. I was so excited for in-game VOIP! Nearly had a runway collision because of some idiot who didn't have SRS or bother looking at the f10 map. Yikes, just tired testing the VOIP radio settings and was greeted with some pretty horrible noise. Like a lightsaber hum, but higher pitched. And loud.
  24. I think I'm going crazy, but all the MFD/LED/Lamp light text in the cockpits looks terrible, and I think it's related to this. Changing AA settings in-game and in Nvidia Control Panel doesn't effect it. Nor does sharpness. I have a 1080ti so no DLSS for me. Sad Panda. But something is wrong with the text. I have a attached several screen shots. You can see than when I zoom in, it gets better, but at my regular zoom level, it looks awful. Illegible, actually. I was driving myself crazy changing settings, but I don't think it's that. Important detail: I am running 1440p. I am aware I have the GUI scale set to 1.5. Setting it back to 1 didn't help, but it did make everything look tiny so I set it back to 1.5. If anything, forcing more AA on in the Nvidia control panel actually may have helped, so I think the OP may be on to something when he says it's the type of AA that matters, but I really have no idea. I suppose I could try DSR and see if that works, but I'm already not getting the performance boost I hoped for. In fact, it might be slightly worse right now. That may be a Syria map problem, though. 3rd screenshot is the zoomed one. Attached:
  25. Thanks, I think I got it now.
