no wheel brakes are on a button press in FC3 & FC3 standalone aircraft, you cant set it to your pedals but you can set it to a stick button I have mine set on the unused mic press on TMWH throttle.

You are wrong I play this on and off (badly) but I try to learn something each time and hope that what I learnt last time is still in my tiny brain. :helpsmilie: it can be done in small doses but is probably easier in long 2 or 3 hour lumps. I have health problems and my wife is disabled so I have little time for flight :( , I tried the Sqn route and found them very helpful but they do require commitment that I cannot give, I fly on the Virtual Aerobatics server online for just flying with no shooting and would like to say thanks to them for the open server :thumbup: and to their members for allowing me to hit them once in a while when I get it wrong :joystick: , It really helps being on their TS to say sorry and hear the "thats ok" or something similar :music_whistling: back.

Buedi yes you did ask a question it was right after the paragraph of crap about dcs doing summat you don't seem to approve of or have I got that wrong as well.

FC3 has always been a DCS title it was only a previous arrangement that they had to use LO in tile and LOMAC as a prerequisite. this has now changed so I presume they have bought out the rights to the name. As for DCS fidelity we already had su25t as the free aircraft bundled with DCSW that is low fidelity but still a great product to get people interested and then move up to A10C, BS2 & P51. I wellcome the latest DCS news as I think it means that the company is doing well and that has to be good for all of us. It annoys me when a company does something for its customers and all people do is moan at them Oh they are only doing it to upset me or I wanted it this way coz I wouldn't have had to buy this or that, Just think that the only reason why they where in a position to do it is because we bought all the modules, If we don't buy they can't make new modules. There are modules I don't like or really want but I have them anyway & have even been suprised to enjoy. @ innerloop. If they were under that umbrella we would all be playing an airborne BF4 clone with a maximum of 4 players. so if thats what you want you know where to go.

yep as far as i know you have to physically swap the leads over on the GC should work then.

I think the original idea is a sound one but it would need some thinking about. 1/ an aircraft is shot down pilot ejects comes down in water with raft eprib sends out a signal to allies who then send help. Obviously while this is going on the pilot isn't going to sit around, so if he goes out to lobby he can then only fly non combat missions til he is rescued or he dies. 2/ warship is sunk sos is sent and help is sent extra points for getting to area and hovering or stopping engines if in a ship. I think that someone with the mission making skills that i don't have should be able to make something like this. Viper don't get upset by remarks they come with the territory just ignore them and move on its better that way, if you don't fuel a fire it won't burn.. a good idea rep sent.

I must admit when I read the OP's heading I thought, Ah someone else like me upset by the over helifying of DCS but reading through the thread it seems I may have the wrong Idea, I first bought Blackshark looking for a replacement for Gunship!. anyone remember that ?. anyhow I loved BS1 it ticked nearly all the boxes, At that time ED were talking about A10, Nevada ( whatever happened to that they had my money but nothing came). Yes I know they said it would be free but we all pay in the long run. since then I have bought every Module. A10,BS2,CA,P51,FC3,UH1,MI8 & DCS WW2 when it gets made, We now have 3 superb Heli's to play with 1 high fidelity jet, half a dozen halfarsed planes in FC3 admittedly now with upgraded flight models & a WW2 prop fighter that is fun but can be a bitch to fly ( like anything). In conclusion DCS/ED have given the community a lot in the past few years but not what everyone wanted hey you cant please everyone right but I cant help feeling they have missed big opertunities, Nevada/EDGE being one of the biggest, They said years ago the next dcs module would be an American fighter everyone started speculating F15,F16,F18 etc nobody thought they meant P51. I like DCS,I like the module idea, I like what they have done so far Heliworld no I don't think so not yet anyway..

But this would make it too easy how would I spend all the hours I save by not having to go through every key command and address it to a button or switch for each aircraft before I even get anywhere near a flight, I am sure this has put off a lot of potential buyers it nearly did with me and some modules.

I have worn mine for hours flying etc. no probs, I just have to sit for 30 secs when I take it off. try and get your IPD setup right it is the main cause of sickness, An Optometrist will measure your IPD ask them to do it for infinity. then just put the data in whatever app you use. must say the longer you use it the less you see the screendoor and the clearer it gets.

I am sorry for you Focha but with that rig even on low settings you are way below what is needed, IMO you need at least 6 gig of DDR3 ram not the DDR2 you have, The GPU is also well below minimums you need something with at least 2gig of ram, Also from experience your comp is only just capable of running Win7 and when I put it on my old rig it ran so slow it wasn't worth it. so I think you need to save for a new rig..

Did anyone actually read the OP's post. he has LOMAC installed & FC3 in DCSW he just wants to know how to get to the FC3 planes, Start game goto instant action click FC3 tab and pick plane...enjoy...BTW you will need to set up your controls in options..

I think I have found a workround for EMC, I was fiddling as you do & I installed my A10C standalone to its original folder, clicked on EMC (without thinking) and it worked ie came up with the direct it to a folder message, I was just about to point it at A10c when I thought try DCSW and bingo it found it & the individual modules for A10 & BS. this could be a one off and I am not about to try it again to test (I may look stoopid)). so give it a go I have not uninstalled A10 for same reason.

I have mine working. All i did was go to C users MYNAME saved games dcs.. in this folder are a DCS folder & a DCS.openbeta folder copy the scripts folder from DCS to DCS.openbeta. this has also enabled my tfs seat.

go to module manager in dcsw and install p51 use your key to activate and your good to go.

I mostly go on VA server for just flying but I am prob about 6 hours ahead of you.

I use .03 as .04 gives me just a touch of blue flash at the edge, using latest Nthusim. nice and clear the first time I have landed the Huey on a tower block with Oculus Rift on Awesome and scary on take off like stepping off the edge looking down out the side window.
