  1. Hi @twistking, Some tasks can be delegated to the rear pilot, which can be useful in a combat situation. For example, the rear pilot can operate the radios, VOR and TACAN and the radar (as well as other things). The rear pilot can also change the countermeasure configuration, which in the single seaters is only possible on the ground. Cheers!
  2. Hey Brems! Feature, the Spanish aircraft (and I think potentially others) use this knob to control the input heading for the CAP mode of the AP. The BIP trim is present in the Spanish F1s too but only to adjust the heading in the base mode of the AP, within a certain range of the initial value and only in 'blipped' inputs. Cheers
  3. Hi guys, So RWR will be worked on after release of the BE and before the M. There's a texture overhaul to be released in the update after the BE. Cheers
  4. Okay, the problem is that you keep the starter button pressed. You need to release it a second after pressing it or so, otherwise you risk damaging the starter.
  5. Hi, this is the intended behaviour. M means on and A means off.
  6. Hi, we believe it's been fixed. Will be available in the next OB.
  7. Hi again @Bremspropeller, So the regulation is through control of the fuel flow to the AB as a function of power setting and engine limitations.
  8. Hi @ST0RM, As @Bremspropeller says there is indeed an ignition delay, shown in the cockpit by the illumination of the INJ red light near the engine RPM gauge. What you describe would correspond more to visual enhancements of the animations of the external 3D model.
  9. Thanks for all the investigations! We think we have fixed this.
  10. The afterburner throttle position does indeed affect thrust significantly. You can check it on the ground by setting the parking brake. In minimum afterburner, the brake will be able to hold the plane in place but not in maximum afterburner. The next OB update will include some tweaks to supersonic drag that might affect the situation you describe. Something to consider too is that, in supersonic regimes, thrust will generally always increase with speed.
  11. @grim_reaper68 thank you so much for the thorough report, as usual. I was struggling to reproduce the conditions that caused the bug.
  12. In all maps or just Syria?
  13. Hi, can you clarify if these issues are happening in MP, please?
  14. Thanks for the report. We will check. Overtemperature damage is simulated but these temperatures won't be enough to trigger it. Opening the fuel feed to the engine and moving the throttle to idle before start up will cause overtemperature damage, for example.
  15. Apart from the F-104 announcement, the newsletter contains screenshots from the BE, including a look at the sight repeater.
  16. Hi guys! The BE has actually required a significant coding effort, a different type of effort than the M requires but still. Even planning for a two seater in advance, some amount of refactoring is required and some other things are just not possible to have 'automatically' coded for the rear cockpit. In any case, we're very close to give you more news about it.
  17. Hi, this has been discussed in-depth before. Essentially the current behaviour is approved by SME with thousands of hours in the plane and verifiable by the performance data. Some errors here and there might still be present (and the behaviour at very high AoA and with asymmetric payloads will be reviewed). But, especially for subsonic speeds, we are confident that the model is very accurate. Some tips/clarifications: the F1 can carry a lot of fuel for its size, so I'd recommend not dogfighting unless you're below half full. It also likes to stay fast. It's possible to outrate other contemporary fighters but only with low fuel and keeping the speed high. Disengaging and extending to search for more favourable fight conditions also works quite well.
  18. Thanks for the report. We'll check.
  19. Okay, another thing we need to know: what command do you have associated with your switch in the HOTAS?
  20. Hi! We are investigating. In the meantime, we recommend you run a repair in your install if you haven't done so.
  21. Hi brems, It will be available soon. You will get some more news and probably be able to take a look at it very soon!
  22. Hi, this is up to ED. We have asked for the new ammo types and they are in the process of implementing them.
