No problem, I'm glad that solved the issue. Thanks for the feedback, we hope the module brings countless hours of fun and joy!

@Thinder my role here is not to moderate discussions but I would appreciate if you were more polite when addressing @Bremspropeller. @Istar_Eldritch from what you describe, the problem seems to be that vJoy is tripping the automatic FFB stick detection. I have no experience with this software but, if it has an option menu, can you check if there is an option related to FFB? Otherwise, if you don't want to uninstall the software, in the DCS MISC. Option menu, try unchecking the Force Feedback checkbox. If it still doesn't work correctly, please report back and we will see if there's something we can do about it.

Hi, There's a current issue (introduced in the last patch) with the yaw damper sometimes amplifying yaw motion instead of dampening it. This has been solved internally. Regarding the general FM feeling, strength of adverse yaw, stability... Our SMEs (which have thousands of hours flying the F1) have tested it extensively and verified it is an accurate representation of the real aircraft. As always, reports of specific issues are appreciated but it's always much more effective if they come with a track or a video showing the issue and, in cases like what is being discussed, some evidence backing the claims being made.
-
Hi! Can you drop a track? We're not aware of any issues with this. Also, do you by any chance have a FFB stick connected too, that could be part of the problem?
-
Okay guys, after consideration with our SMEs we've decided to give you a couple more minutes before overheating occurs. Still, when AA refueling, please turn off the radar (in the future just put it on STBY), the tanker crew will be grateful

We're taking a look at it, I'll come back with an answer when we have it!

NP!

Hi, sorry for the late reply I'm investigating the issue and managed to reproduce it when setting the gyro selector to GM before having AC power. In the meantime before we solve it and it's made available to the public, a good fix is to set the gyros to AR, wait 15 seconds and move it to GM again. This is the way to command a re-alignment of the gyros, and as far as I can tell it's working correctly. EDIT: Fixed it internally (probably won't make it to the OB next update, tho)

No problem! We like to get things as accurate as possible

Hello, the yaw damper code has been rewriten internally and will be available in the next update.

Yes, even then you know your help is always very welcomed!

Hello. We always check reports of 3D model/texture issues and correct them when needed. For example, we have already internally corrected some other issues reported by @Aircul. Possibly not the case here but in some instances it turns out that the instruments in a particular model are slightly different than the instruments in another one, as has also been the case with some other reports.

Rudder bug in wind and turbulance
fausete replied to Hoirtel's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Hello, This is a known bug introduced in the last update. We have an internal fix for it that will be made available in the next update. In the meantime, turning off and on again the yaw damper (3 position switch in the front left panel, close to the gear lever) ends the oscillation events. Sorry for the inconvenience. -
Wing station bombs seem to have asymmetric drag/weight
fausete replied to Default774's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yes, there was a problem there too, we fixed it with the BR-500 asymmetry, so it will be available in the next update. Thanks for the report tho! -
No problem, thanks for the compliments. Just to be clear, the PHIMAT is not done. I meant the fix of all the bugs reported here.
-
Hello again, There is indeed an issue with the integral command of the lateral modes of the AP, especially noticeable on connection and disconnection. I've been working on fixing it and hopefully the fix will be ready in the next update.
-
Correct, thus using the videos for reference has to be done with caution.
-
Hello, this has been reported multiple times and internally fixed.

The main problem, as @Tango3B states is that the noise needs to be dynamic. Therefore we'll probably wait until the radar overhaul to fix the noise amount.
-
Hi, we'll take a look at it and see if the problem is on our end. Thanks for the report!
-
Hello! The radar is probably the most WIP item in the plane. Reports from our SMEs (both pilots and technicians) indicate that the noise levels should indeed be generally lower, so we are aware of it. Thanks a lot for the report and the video tho.

Good evening, In the cockpit pictures we have of Spanish F1, the size of the font is larger than in these pictures. Thanks for all the texture bug reports nevertheless, we are taking a look at all of them.
