I'm sure they will show the C-130. Besides, I think there were plans for an earlier F-16 version than the one we have. The F-15C was said over and over that they have no plans to make it themselves. Maybe a 3rd party? The F-4 is coming, as is the EF, the F-15E and the Tornado. We already have the F-14 and quite a few centuries are also coming. The choices left for a doable big seller are quite short: Superhornet Rafale Gripen F-22 Mig-29 Su-27 F-117A F-111 B-1B As for helicopters there are many choices still open:

Landing gear down at mission start?
tomcat_driver replied to tomcat_driver's topic in Mission Editor
Thank you, I figured it out yesterday. I'm using X:Commands and Cockpits Clickables. -
Vaicom pro doesn't, but I'm pretty sure it's hosting app, Voice Attack, does. Regardless, I also agree that the best solution would be a native DCS voice interaction implementation with all the comms and related comms rewritten from ground up to this new paradigm.

Good luck there mate. If by any chance it was that afterburner crypto miner, my recommendation to change all your passwords should also be valid to you. There are reports of that it also steals all your passwords, specially those saved by your browsers. Regarding the miner's persistence, don't forget about the registry: https://attack.mitre.org/techniques/T1547/001/

DMZ is not automatically insecure by default. It's a third interface to place internet facing services. You can setup it's filtering in any professional prosumer firewall just like any of the other interfaces. A few recommendation of my part. If the hacked system was in the same network as the rest of your devices, you should be concerned. Your network is already compromised. If you haven't yet, you should at a minimum report the cybercrime to your local authority : https://www.gov.uk/guidance/where-to-report-a-cyber-incident I'd also recommend backing up your whole system, format everything and quarantine the backup by restoring it in an isolate virtual machine. Also, if you haven't yet, you should start using a firewall device. A Pfsense should be enough in most cases and allows you to manipulate features usually found on top of the line devices like Fortinet. But make sure you understand that any firewall or security device is just as secure as the level of knowledge of the user who sets it up. Learn as much as you can. Tutorials are everywhere. You can even build your Pfsense from an old laptop using an USB-Ethernet adapter for the second required port. I haven't tried it myself with DCS, but it should work. For the traffic list above by BitMaster, with Pfsense or any pro/prosumer firewall, you can apply IPS/IDS filtering to the application's traffic. Passwords. Better late than sorry. Start changing all of them and whenever possible, MFA. You can have an MFA authenticator on your phone like google's or Microsoft's. For the passwords, I recommend you use a password manager like Keepass to generate and store your passwords. You can generate completely random 20+ characters passwords

Check out some of the apache pros videos from when the apache was first released. They usually taxi the apache right to the runway for a classic airplane take off. Helos like the apache, get a share of their lift from their fixed surfaces while at speed. This in turn allows them to take off using less power thus wasting less fuel, or even from higher altitudes.

For wheeled helicopters, you can brake while on the ground. But to pay 300+£ for a rudder pedal, which also takes quite a lot of space in your office/play area, it better be versatile enough to support not only helicopters, but all your planes as well.

Perhapa they didn't. Dont exclude the fact that maybe the data we have on the C is also very innacurate, and perhaps what we think was a giant leap, wasnt.

Half the drag? Isn't that way too much?

They have. It's the closed beta testers version, but I won't deny that I'd like to have access to that too.

12700k or 5800x3d for DCS
tomcat_driver replied to junneh's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Currently without multithread support, 5800x3d. It will probably remain so, but who knows. -
Do you have a demo video to showcase the mod?

What Helicopter Module do you wanna see next?
tomcat_driver replied to Tank50us's topic in DCS Core Wish List
No blackhawk nor CH-53? I wonder why the list is so short. Are you trying to steer the voting to a particular choice perhaps with this cheap trickery? I vote this thread with 1 star and propose a not biased poll with the max number of choices (20): -

+1 Jester wheel. I don't know if it works like that already, but perhaps something on the lines: Jester, Radio, Options > Opens Jester Wheel Radio Menu Jester, TACAN, Options > Opens Jester Wheel Radio TACAN Menu ...

How long does it take from turning it on until strapping it on ready to start playing a PC game? From the comments it seems it's big effort with several steps.
