Thrustmasters TPR or MFG Crosswinds v3?
tomcat_driver replied to tomcat_driver's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
It comes with 2 cams. I'll tried one and it's already good enough, you can clearly feel it centered. -
Thrustmasters TPR or MFG Crosswinds v3?
tomcat_driver replied to tomcat_driver's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I received mine on friday. It's incredibly precise and smooth. It can tip over if you have only one foot on. Next up is to upgrade it with shocks and maybe get a different footrest. The universal combat was sold out, so I'd got M109. Overall, pretty happy with it. Flying the apache now is pleasure. -

Scout is not self defence. Scouts offensively fight for the intel. It shapes the battlefield and serves as the eyes and ears of the commander. -
Wow! It's really happening, we're once again gonna have a Strike Eagle in our lives!

Before taking any conclusions, you really should wait. At this point it's all expeculation.

Jester v2, great news. It's pretty good already, by far better than George and will be further improved. Wish Jester API could be mutualized and integrated in other modules, ED and 3rd parties. -

MFG Crosswinds v3
tomcat_driver replied to tomcat_driver's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thank you very much, it's far smaller than I thought for a 5.2kg parcel. -
MFG Crosswinds v3
tomcat_driver replied to tomcat_driver's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Do you think it's larger than 250cm total? (L x (Hx2) x (Wx2))? I made the bad choice of rescheduling the delivery to a pickup store and due to the size of the package, it risks them returning without accepting it. -
New Rig: Win 10 or 11?
tomcat_driver replied to Cavemanhead's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Stay away from Win11! To make things "differentely", MS went like: This works, but oh well, let's change it, so it's different, even if it's just worse. -

That's specially true if you take into consideration Voice Attack and VAICOM. -

Wow! This playable and I would buy the WW2 stuff. Reminds me the good times playing WarBirds 1995! -
For our use in DCS, there is nothing of classified in a F-117A. It has no radar, no EW. The RCS is well known and can be reproduced is a digital model, specifically one as simple as DCS's. There is absolutely no need to know anything about the materials used, the composition, the chemistry; it has no simulation value. A flight model, like any other, can also be derived from computational models, fluid dynamics. The flight manual is readily available on the internet.

TM Cougar & CH magnetoresistive/ hall sensor kits
tomcat_driver replied to rel4y's topic in Thrustmaster
Hello @rel4y, I have a question. I originally upgraded all the sensors on my CH HOTAS and on a later date, the throttle's board but not the stick's. Would it be possible for me to swap the stick and throttle boards so I have the upgraded relay's board in the stick instead? -
