  1. Deadline is December 19th 2014... :D
  2. If you are not using JSGME, go here: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\aircrafts\Ka-50\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures Place the zipped folder here and replace the default folder.
  3. Really? Is the compression that low in a Rolls Royce Merlin that a 5 knot head wind is enough to freely spin a 12 cylinder, 27 liter engine over?
  4. No, it's pretty much the same story :D
  5. Dumping wing stores, trimming and managing your airspeed right it's not a problem. Even works on the faster jets ;)
  6. I too have seen it in 1.5 and earlier and reported it before. I am just bringing it up again pointing out it remains in 2.0
  7. Here you go ;) But back to the F-117 :D
  8. Why not just say yes to every aircraft proposed by developers and when it's available, don't buy it if you don't like it... If Kinney Interactive would've gotten more support from us here we would've already had the F-35 in DCS by now.
  9. When the engine is turned off in the P-51D, the prop will continue to spin slowly when a headwind is present. The slow speed that the prop spins is affected by the speed of the headwind. :book:
  10. And that's why we have in flight refueling :D Over time the maps in DCS will grow just like the list of aircraft have grown... We could probably come up with a list of restrictions for every aircraft in DCS right now on why it would not be good to have them in DCS. Seriously who would not want a detailed F-117? Yeah yeah, classified systems, secret this and that... Unless you are flying the real F-117 and have a checkride in it after you train for it in DCS I doubt it's a problem if the developers create systems for it based on what we do know... I remember a time when people heard the old MiG-21 was coming to DCS and were mad about it because it was an outdated fighter... But Leatherneck put so much attention to detail into it that it's one of best modules available and everyone loves it. I think if a non arcade version can be developed with a high level of detail the F-117 will do well in DCS. If we have room for trainer jets then surely we have room for a very cool stealth bomber
  11. The F-117 is really an amazing and unique jet. It deserves to be modeled properly and get a home in DCS. The fast intense action of a dogfight is not there sure, but we have fighters for that mission. I would think a quality built night mission requiring accurate mision altitudes and a specific timeline to place your stealth jet unknowingly to the enemy over the target area covered in SAMS to destroy the correct target and return home undetected or shot down has an equal amount of action in a different way. Besides just the random flying with a buddy doing formation flights or touch and go's or sightseeing to take awesome screenshots. Either way, I say hell yes, bring on the Nighthawk!
  12. Those pictures were from the mods and apps section here in the forums. It was a project someone was working on a few years back. I guess they gave up on it... Which is too bad because the modeling was really far along.
  13. It's called updates and improvements :D
  14. Thanks ED!!!! Now get back to work because we want 3.0!!! :D
  15. Well Wags did say "We are committed to creating the most authentic recreation of World War II air combat ever done." http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2571277&postcount=4 So maybe there is hope she will arrive one day ;)
  16. Like this one...
  17. I feel like before anything new is released (After DCS 2.0) The devs time should be spent fixing all the existing bugs and getting the current modules out of beta. This includes fixing the ATC logic. This way any new content in the future can arrive with a clean slate and not have years of old bugs coming along with them.
