Can't comment on the X65, but the Cougar covers fit the Warthog too - just not as snug and form fitting as the ones tailored for the Warthog though. I suspect the same would be true for the Warthog covers on other sticks, as these units are quite large. Just don't expect a perfect seam/fit.

Very nice! Out of curiosity, what has been reworked?

Anyone else uses flight gloves?

half baked = 1) Foolish, poorly thought out, ill conceived; 2) Used to describe someone who is under the heavy influence of weed; 3) An expression from Northern Ireland meaning that someone has had their head cut in half. The person's face is refered to as their "bake", therefore someone with half a face is "half-baked". ghetto = 1) Run down poor side of town or when something is jerry-rigged and looks like it was made in a half-assed fashion; 2) Opposite of the meaning "pimp"; 3) Could also be mislead by middle-class speak for cool, hip, now, happenin'. gloves = 1) Slang term for condom, as used in "Can I Get a What What" by Jay-Z; 2) The things you wear on your hands you effen moron... Duh, why does this need defined. ;) So, what I meant to say was: "Hip and happenin' hand condoms for pot heads from Northern Ireland." :D -

LOL! If I'm gonna nerd-it-out in the mancave (and take the smirk remarks) I'd rather be a full-on hardcore geek than wearing some half-baked ghetto gloves. :megalol: -

Hell to da yeaya! P.S. From the mid 90's to just a few years ago the USAF Thunderbirds were the only Air Force squadron approved to use leather deerskin gloves. Sadly, the vendor went out of business, and for the past few seasons they've used Nomex desert colored ones (I believe). -
TrackClipPro with... Speed: 0.5 Smooth: 25 Before I used a progressive setting with a small deadzone in the center, and tiny increments of acceleration to a relatively low setting then flat to the end. This gave me very precise movements, but I had to turn my head slightly more than some people might want to in order to look beyond 90 left/right/up. I definitely agree that the default settings are very sensitive and I've always tweaked them down to a very low setting in comparison to have much greater control.

FYI, the Cougar and Warthog handles don't open the same way.

I've used Nomex flight gloves and leather deerskin flight gloves for years with my FSSB modded HOTAS Cougar. Definitely improved my precision and feel flying with a force sensing stick. With the HOTAS Warthog, however, I find I can be more precise without gloves since the stick moves and I have it center mounted. -

There are plenty of superlatives to describe it once it's no longer on your desk.;) -

Dimebug, did you get suggestions for other updates/fixes in TARGET? (Think Teej is emailing you those).
-
Looking good!!! :) It's Flim... (Psst, try it backwards)! ;)
-
Did you setup a curve and deadzone in TARGET with the Elites? I'm using Elites too and they work great with the HW (through the Cougar base). Of course, I have the Hall Sensor mod from Cubby for mine, but none the less... See if you have enough deadband, curve and what kind of values you see in the analyzer while running your TARGET script. If the pot is off-center you should be able to adjust it (see Cubby's site for instructions how to open your peds), and if your pot is shot I'd definitely consider buying a HS mod for your pedals to remedy the problem (also Cubby's site).

I think he meant within the poll that's the only real possibility. (The only "realistic choice" to vote for). ;) -

2nd that! Technique/grip matters!!! I had a big response typed up in reference to MacTheKnight and Teej's comments, but the ED forums decided to log me out while I was typing so nothing saved... Here's take #2 and the skinny: There's only one spring in the Warthog and it's a helical spring (i.e. uniform resistance throughout the range). Don't forget that 9/10 reviews of the HW are glowing, while most people who are happy are simply... happy (and quiet flying their sticks). The users with problems tend to be heard more, and for good reason. Hopefully someone can help solve their issues, but this sticky point is definitely not a problem to me and many others (who are precision freaks). It'd call it more of a valid concern and something to keep an eye on. Time will tell, and we'll make sure that TM is made aware. In the mean time, there seems to be some workarounds already if it bothers you. It doesn't bother me, and I'm able to control my jet down to the hundreth of a G while increasing and decreasing stick deflection, so no problem here... Tip: As mentioned, technique matters!!! You cannot use the same technique used with an FSSB modded Cougar (mine had 14-21 lbs of force required for full deflection), so adjust your grip to where your long finger and ring finger rests directly underneath the trigger when you fly and keep a relatively light touch on the stick (no deathgrip!!!). If you grip the HW too low and hold it too tight trying to excert force rather than deflecting the stick, you'll be your own worst enemy. Center mounted/placed between your legs and with the proper grip on the stick, you'll have very few problems with absolute control! :) -

That's like going to the polls to vote for the democratic candidate but not seeing his name on the ballot, and voting for the republican instead! P.S. Definitely some poor choices in this unofficial poll! I mean, c'mon... Raptors, Lightnings, or Tomcats - I can think of half a dozen others that would be more popular and make more sense for the devs! -

I'd hope so, but something tells me that's not the case... I certainly hope if someone did screw up and swap paint with another jet, they'd buy everyone else a round of beers! :drunk: -

Where's the choice for an F-16C Block 52?!! -
It would be neat if someone was able to create a shuffle/random skycolor mod (not sure exactly how you'd do that though). The sky never looks the same in the real world every day, and many of these sky color mods are good representations of various skies - but there's obviously never going to be a perfect match since it's an ever changing environment out there.

Works here. Just figured it would be easier for someone wanting to order to find your site this way instead of digging for it.

Love how some of the planes aft in the formation were so far back they topped out the "mass loop" inside of the aircraft in the front of the formation, LOL!!! The break out at the end was awesome too... giant furball (to be). Nicely done Slamraam! -
Hey Deadman, you should put your e-store (website) in your forum signatures! Just an idea.
