It seems you're right. I didn't take into account how the system works. I forgot about that. I took it for granted, a mental shortcut: sealing = closing. My mistake.
-
When I assigned an action, closing opened the system and opening closed it.
-
@FlappieAfter a short break, I sat down at the Mi-24 and wanted to assign "Sealing". A small note: in adjust control it's described backwards.
-
Thank you. I'll keep digging into this topic for a bit. I've remembered something I wanted to ask. Since we're trying to replicate the Mi-24 as faithfully as possible, is there any consideration of implementing a check for dangerous engine vibrations? If the thermocouples work, why shouldn't the vibrations work?
-
Great information. Thank you.

@Rudel_chw Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I know I won't be able to use modules or mods released for a higher version. Like you, I'm prepared for this and it doesn't bother me. I have a similar situation with ETS2. @Hiob As I mentioned above, it's similar in ETS2. You can play earlier versions of the game with your favorite mods without using newer add-ons.
-
I know this might be a stupid question. Isn't it true that you can use the module on an earlier version of DCS, when it still worked? I'm curious because I have a module from RB and I don't know how long I'll be able to enjoy it. Sorry for the off-topic.

First of all, I don't know why you're looking into my private life, secondly, this isn't the place for such a discussion, thirdly... finish it yourself. -
DCS Su-22 by VinntoreZ - Mod Developement Thread
Raffi75 replied to VinntoreZ's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Świetna robota VinntoreZ, dawno na nic tak nie czekałem jak na ten samolot. Dzięki za Twój czas i to że Ci się chce. (Great job VinntoreZ, I haven't looked forward to anything as much as this plane in a long time. Thanks for your time and for being so eager.) -
While we're on the subject, I looked for the Cabin Press axle and couldn't find it anywhere. Unless it's under a different name.

Either you don't read carefully or I have no idea what you're talking about. -
OH-6A by Tobsen and Eightball
Raffi75 replied to tobi's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Check your internet settings; you might have a limit set. I downloaded OH-6 and the rest two days ago without any problems. -
Seriously, this is a prime example of how it's easier to close an uncomfortable topic and ignore users who paid for the product. Instead of acting like responsible adults and publishing a fully-fledged manual.
-
That's not how it's done. You want another thread closed.

I don't know if you'll find a perfectly clean cockpit. I don't remember ever seeing one like this.

I recommend taking a look here. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/filter/unit-is-mi-24p/sort-is-downloads/user-is-Sundowner.pl/apply/

This topic keeps coming back like a boomerang. @BIGNEWY Do you see it? It seems the time has come for a full, official manual.

Mi-24 Rudders issue (ignore trim, move to the left)
Raffi75 replied to Yuriks's topic in DCS: Mi-24P Hind
I suspect it's something like Auto Rudder. Something that's supposed to help, but actually just gets in the way. In every module where I have "Auto" associated with rudder, I immediately disable it. -
Saab SK-60 Trainer

@Rudel_chw I agree with you. I don't hold any grudges against anyone. I know they've started work on the J35 Draken, and now I'm patiently waiting. I've seen the posts on Discord and respect every decision the developers make. I personally follow the principle: family first, work, life, then everything else. -
Saab SK-60 Trainer

It's a shame the project has been put on hold (temporarily?). I really like this mod, but... Unfortunately, after the last update, all the control surfaces stopped moving. -
DCS Su-22 by VinntoreZ - Mod Developement Thread
Raffi75 replied to VinntoreZ's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
I think it's all good now. Personally, I wouldn't touch anything here. I know Yoyo can be meticulous. To the point of pain. Let's be honest, how often are you going to look at the front landing gear? -
I noticed this completely by accident. It doesn't bother me much. I usually look straight ahead and to the sides, rarely at the stars.
