  1. Please help. Does anyone know what the sealing valve is labeled as in the function list? I've searched all over and found nothing. Just to clarify, I'm referring to this knob.
  2. "AH-64D – New George Commands (Forum mini-update) The next DCS update will add huge improvements to commanding “George AI” as the Co-Pilot Gunner to search for and engage enemy forces. The post explains how to use the interface and explains the command logic." Maybe something similar could finally be done with Petrovitch? He's truly... limited. The Mi-24 is almost a year older than the Apache and looks like it has been neglected.
  3. Maybe this patch will finally fix the radio tuning light. I don't think it's a big deal.
  4. Great news. I hope it works and works properly.
  5. Looks great. Have you considered adding a tiltable SPPU-22? I'm just curious; I remember Su-22s firing with that pod.
  6. Where's the airframe technician? What came loose!!!
  7. Great fun. I have to limit myself to one mission a day so it doesn't end too quickly. It's incredibly addictive. Regarding the incorrect marker reading on the map, I selected the mission again and checked the magnetic declination in the lower cabin. It was set to 2.4. I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but since I've been keeping it set to 2.2, I haven't had any problems with the readings.
  8. Thanks, but it's not particularly difficult. Do it a few times with the checklist, and then it'll be automatic. As for the map, it works for me; I just sometimes have problems with the markers on the map pointing correctly.
  9. I don't use autostart or autoshutdown unless the mission requires it.
  10. I never turn it on. I've never had a problem with it in other flights, whether online or offline. I ran the entire YoYo campaign for the Mi-24 on the Kałkaz map, and the marker follows the line perfectly. ps. I really don't have a problem operating the Mi-24. I'm familiar with this helicopter.
  11. Thank you very much.
  12. Is this Eurocopter available for download somewhere?
  13. Yes. I have everything connected according to the checklist. I know the problem lies with the modules. They're missing some kind of connection. Just like the Mi-24 is missing one level of the Afghanistan map. Everything's fine on my end. This is truly excellent work you've done. I've been waiting for something like this for the Mi-24.
  14. Everything works fine for me. Beautiful mountains, the Kino group in the background, and off we go. ps. The only thing that bothers me is the helicopter's position marker on the map. It's in the wrong place, but that's the fault of the Mi-24 module or the Afghanistan map, not the campaign itself.
  15. It's off to a great start. The game's dialogue really sets the mood. I feel like I want more. Thank you so much for your work and your time.
  16. Once again. I'm adding a track from the S-8 launch. 2 km from the target (planes on the runway) I placed smoke. The attack on the target should be preceded by making a hill. I fly to 700 m to show you how the sight behaves. When I'm already at a distance of about 2 km I start diving. Pay attention to the sight, I stabilize the cross on the target and the distance indicator to the target appears. The bold section is the effective distance to the target and in this range the yellow light is on. That's all. On your replay you are constantly making a slight dive and aiming with the floating grid of the sight. Try to aim with the fixed grid of the sight and make slight corrections to the floating one. I hope this will help you a little in shooting with the S-8. S-8.trk
  17. Supposedly, in the Afghan war, the Russians flew to within the range of the missiles, about 3-4 km, lifted the front of the helicopter slightly and fired a full salvo. So that the missiles would reach the target. All this to avoid the Stingers. The report of a pilot flying the Mi-24. I don't know how much truth there is in this.
  18. If that was directed at me, I was talking about the FM, not the cockpit.
  19. Exactly. I chose the distance of 2 km on purpose to show what the dispersion of the rockets is at that distance. Personally, I try to shoot from a distance of about 1000 m to have the possibility of moving away from the target.
  20. Personally I would use FM from Mi-24 if possible. I think it is closer to Mi-28. Thanks for your work.
  21. I quickly recorded a procedure for the S-8 I use. The yellow light indicates readiness to shoot.
  22. Looking at it this way I agree with you
  23. @ebabil I don't understand how they are absent. Can you explain it to me. I assigned the AP to the keyboard and it works perfectly for me. @T.Power I don't really see the point of assigning volume potentiometers to anything. Personally, I set the volume before starting and don't touch it anymore. Of course, this is my approach to the subject.
  24. @BIGNEWY Hi, It will take place before the official manual for the Mi-24 or after that? Thank you
