correct as is 'Launcher Arm' non-functional
Raffi75 replied to Lixma 06's topic in Bugs and Problems
This was on my mind ; I knew I had the "Arming" manual somewhere. Pilot actions during approach to the target area: ... 2. Ensure that the mode switch on the armament panel is set to the "НРС" position and that the "1", "2" /ПУС ВЗНЕДЕНЫ/ indicator lights and the "1", "2", "3", "4" /ПОДВЕСКА СПЕЦГРУЗА/ indicator lights on the suspension beams are lit according to the actual suspension configuration. If the "ПУС ВЗНЕДЕНЫ" indicator lights are not lit, set the "НРС БОРТА" switch to the "ОБА" position and press the "ВЗНЕДЕНИЕ ПУС" button. In subsequent incidents (after launching the first round of missiles), do not press the "ВЗНЕДЕНИЕ ПУС" button, ignoring the "ПУС ВЗНЕДЕНЫ" indicator lights going out. ... I hope everything is clear now. Regards -
Yesterday I returned to this plane and installed v.2.4.4, and today such a surprise

The rockets are armed once. If you don't, the salvos won't be even. There will be a short burst, then three even bursts, then another short burst. Normally, there should be four even bursts with the medium burst length setting. We've discussed this before. This doesn't work as intended, but if you want even firing, arm it first.
-
You know that you only arm the missiles once and everything goes as it should.

OK, now I understand. You're referring to the switch on the left circuit breaker panel. Can anything be turned on there independently? I've never tested it; I always turn on both the left and right panels completely.
-
Maybe I misunderstood you. Isn't PWR the switch on/off? The switch on the left. It's labeled that way. Unless you mean something else.

You can find the R-863 on the list. I didn't find the GREBEN, SPU-8, or FDV either. It's not a big deal for me, as I only use it during startup and enjoy clicking around the cabin.
-
Cause -> KORD. I tested several QAG variants, and open cabins only occurred (for me) with KORD. However, a few other things caught my attention, and I'm wondering if it's a replay issue or if you simply didn't enable the systems. @BIGNEWY@Flappie Could you please check this out? Thank you.

I don't have this problem.

ATG missles aren’t coming off the rails- 100% it’s me, but why?

Submit the track, it will definitely help. Guessing will only lead to unnecessary confusion. -
You know that crosshair still works?

I have already corrected it

I stumbled upon this by accident. I had a similar problem with a mission. I found TANGO on mine disk.

Northolt was the base where, among others, Polish fighter squadrons were stationed: 302, 303, 306, 308. It was one of the main air bases defending London. -

It's great to hear we finally have a base in Northolt. Now I can consider buying this map. -
It seems you're right. I didn't take into account how the system works. I forgot about that. I took it for granted, a mental shortcut: sealing = closing. My mistake.
-
When I assigned an action, closing opened the system and opening closed it.
-
@FlappieAfter a short break, I sat down at the Mi-24 and wanted to assign "Sealing". A small note: in adjust control it's described backwards.
-
Thank you. I'll keep digging into this topic for a bit. I've remembered something I wanted to ask. Since we're trying to replicate the Mi-24 as faithfully as possible, is there any consideration of implementing a check for dangerous engine vibrations? If the thermocouples work, why shouldn't the vibrations work?

Great information. Thank you.
