I was just pondering this subject while walking the dog today. Haven't seen any news on this since it was revealed it was coming. My guess is it's just one of those things that will show up in one of the updates without much fan fare. Just hope it wasn't/ won't get scrapped. I know I'd put it to use for sure.

For the warthog I set axis to linear then set a deadzone of 13, that way it stays consistent, just a lot more sensitive between the detents.

After that, then they're going to go back and finish up Nevada along with the added features. When will that be? Your guess is as good as mine. I doubt they are quite ready to give out ETAs just yet

Sure, may be a lot of frustration if you try to go toe to toe with the FC3 guys, but think of the satisfaction you will get when you get that kill without those gizmos.

To Avoid fighter contact and pass on the info to the CAP. If I'm flying the tiger in a modern arena it will be as a ground pounder with some bite.

Yes I know this info is also a year + old but in this Froogle VLOG video Wags talks a bit about developing the ground mapping radar and laying the ground work for future 3rd party developments. Figured it was still relevant for this thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=137815 Not going to speculate on why there is so little info since. Leatherneck has an aircraft right around the corner that has a ground radar and we havnt even seen one picture of that. I'm personally taking the fact that ED feels confident enough to give a tentative timeframe as good sign they have made headway in this department.

The more I think about it the less I think it will be the WAAS version of the 430. To me that's ok because I think that would be beyond the scope of what the 430 is being implemented to do, whitch I believe is to help some of the Russian and older aircraft navigate using Gps if they wish to do so. Since as of now DCS is missing many smaller airports and a few navaids I wouldn't expect a full jepp database either. ED can basically just add all the GPS fix points (just imaginary points in space), the nearest airport function, DIRECT function, TERRAIN function. The ability to manually add gps fixes and coordinates and Maybe even the flight plan and OBS functions and that would be sufficient for a combat flight sim IMHO. I don't think it has a reason to be FSx payware quality.
