Very cool model shaggy, btw, did you use the glass tool that was in ED's plugin? I never saw that purple/green/blue canopy glass before. Overall the model is great, I'm going to use it to replace the stock F-5 model.

When you are making a mission, instead of pressing the "FLY" button, go to under the flight tab and press record track Or just simple press "Ctrl-R" and it will record. You cannot record while you are in game, you have to do it before you launch the mission. Once you are done, it will ask you what file name you want to save the track as, then, if you want to show your friends some good views rather than whatever you just saw (which is mostly in the cockpit) you go to flight again and press edit track, and then you can record whatever view you want. And give that track file to your friends. Another way (in case your friends computer is not that good), you can just show them through tacview. Hope this helps.

One of the things I would like to see is if guns and bombs could be added, but that's pretty hard to do.

Shouting just makes things complicated, if you come in here with a rude attitude, it gives less motivation for people to help you. So chill out, the team will get to you. And like you said, you placed the request of Saturday, they don't work on saturdays or sundays, so by the time it got to monday, your email request might have been buried by other activation requests.

Well the AFM planes are a bit easier to break the wings. All you need to do is go fast enough and pull up, the stress alone would break it. However, when it comes to the F-15C, which has SFM, then you would probably need to run into an object to take out the wings.

Personally I have one 1 partition. 1 for the OS, and all the other program, I gave that 80 gigs And the rest is just storage for files.

Most of them don't even know anything about computers, so you are best at buying it off of the website I do agree that the design of the dell laptops isn't the best looking one in the world, but like you said, we care about performance. Both graphics card are pretty decent. However, i found that my current 256 mb 8600 GT didn't perform as well as my old 256 mb 7900 GS. My lock on is heavily modded, I have a lot of high res skins and models in there. And this is my current setting with the 8600GT It runs fairly smooth, but if you go for the HP with the 8400 graphics card, you might have to settle for slightly lower settings. So yea, if you are cool with that, by all means do that. Cheers and I hope you have a happy purchase. I also bought my laptop for college use (and Lock On) lol.

my personal stand on models is don't let the poly count limit you down that much. Of course there's a limit, but technology is only going to get better. So build it detailed now, because you don't want to look back from the future and say, damn I wished it was higher poly. Because by then, you are already past the unwrap, skinning...etc that there's no going back. I believe that's what ED is doing, look at their apache model, that's about 100K poly.

I have almost the same setup (my specs is under my sig), with the dell I1720 The graphics card and everything else is good enough to handle lock on (not all on high though). However, that hard drive might be your bottleneck. Running at 5400 rpm. Here's a tip, get a coupon for the dell laptops by going here http://www.notebookreview.com/dellCoupon.asp See if it knocks off the price to more of your budget, if its still not good enough, I suggest you get the HP laptop, but get the cheapest HD they have, and buy a 100 gig 7200 rpm HD from newegg.com or something similar. cheers and welcome to the forum.

yea that is true, Go for the plane that will give you the most sales *cough* flanker *cough* lol But in all honesty, it would probably be the F-15C or F-16
