  1. Open Windows settings Select Privacy & Security Select Windows Security Open Windows Security Select Virus & Threat Protection Under Virus & threat protection settings you have a link: "Manage Settings": open this Scroll down to Exclusions and click "Add or remove exclusions" Here you can add exclusions. For DCS: The folder where DCS is installed and your Saved Games Folder.
  2. Do you run TrackIR when you're in VR?
  3. Neeti55 is doing his thing right now.
  4. If you start reading a few pages back you'll find that SkateZilla has other priorities at the moment.
  5. To lazy to do a youtube search SJ? Took me 5 secs...
  6. Overall it works just fine. Problems in setting it up?
  7. Depends on what you find troublesome, I use an audio headset on my Rift-S all the time.
  8. He should be for a device that will set you back 1900€.
  9. Do you see the throttle? Or none of them?
  10. Oh well, we've been waiting for more than 10 years now after the first "promise" that ATC would receive a "major" update. That patience now is slowly coming to an end.
  11. Worked fine with my Pico, can't remember the details, returned the Pico more than a year ago. Since i have a DP connected headset, i uninstalled everything regarding VD.
  12. But it does work so why not using it?
  13. VD can be used fine with a link cable.
  14. If you run in OpenXR and have OpenXR Toolkit installed you can bring the Toolkit settings menu up when you are in DCS VR through the keyboard combo you can set if you open the program on your desktop. null In this case it's CTRL+ALT+Down Arrow to bring the menu up in VR. Then use the arrow keys to go through the menu. You'll find Turbo mode on the first page.
  15. Also give OpenXR toolkit a try, just set the Turbo Mode to ON and see if you get any less stuttering.
  16. You can't transfer these one on one because Windows gives a controller an ID number and when you move to another windows install Windows will generate a new ID number for each controller. If they don't match (and they will not) your old setup will not work if copied over. Road with the most work to use your old setup: - copy the Input folder to a safe place: C:/Users/Your Name/Saved Games/DCS/Config/Input - Move to new Windows and re-install everything including your controller. - Look up the new ID numbers in your new install (C:/Users/Your Name/Saved Games/DCS/Config/Input/ each individual aircraft/joystick ID nrs look like this: Thrustmaster Combined DX128 {1C96BA10-A7EA-11ee-8002-444553540000}.diff.lua - Note the ID number for each controller - Copy over your old configuration - Replace your old ID nrs in "each" filename for "each" aircraft with the new ones. - Done (but quite a job). You can head over to the hardware section of the forum and search there (or on the internet) for a solution with a batch file or something to automate the manual work. https://forum.dcs.world/forum/70-input-devices/
  17. Since a few weeks spammers are back posting a bulk of messages, clogging up the forum. If one goes through the forum manually it's mostly only one post per forum/subforum and can be easely ignored. However, if the "unread content" option is used, the entire bulk of spam messages shows up, message after message in the unread content list. This happens also when I add the spam poster to my ignore list. Members that are put in the ignore list should not show up in the unread content list adding an extra filter to all the spam messages they post.
  18. No. Basically, it acts as a keyboard substitute, you program your DCS keyboard settings into the StreamDeck. With scripts you can make it more interactive like showing values from the airplane instruments. But I don't know how the StreamDeck variants which have turning knobs on them (which are axis) show up in DCS controls.
  19. Just copy/paste your log file into the dcs-log-analyzer and press enter. If you don't see anything happen, make sure you're on the bottom of that page. Pagefile: There is no need to set up a page file on the main (C) drive. I have mine set up on its own partition on another drive. Works fine.
  20. Not here. No extra artifacts. I need to run OpenXR in Turbo Mode though to prevent it from stuttering in MT. It ran fine without Turbo Mode in ST but in MT it is mandatory to get it stutter free with ASW. Although Turbo sets ASW to OFF according to the red message but if i set ASW to ON with Turbo Mode ON, FPS is limited to 40 so there is something is still don't understand. According to the message in OpenXR, ASW should be turned OFF and then my FPS should go up to 80 which it never does. PD: 1.3 MSAAx4 Oculus software: v66 Nvidia driver: 537.58
  21. Good tip, missed that one.
  22. You didn't misunderstood. If updates just go into the linked folder then all is fine.
  23. Because i ran a bit out of (update)space in my 1TB dedicated DCS drive, i'm using symbolic links for some less (or not) used stuff. This works fine but what with updates to stuff that has symbolic links on it and is moved out of the DCS folder? Is this updated on the newly created disk space or is it updated in the old space making a mix of newly updated stuff and symbolic link stuff?
  24. Just re-signed up on 360 (forgot my old login, probably age starts kicking in).

  25. As MAXsenna said: Yes! If your Target software generates an A then DCS has to know what that A stands for. If you bond it to the Autopilot Engage it will do that, if you didn't bind an A to something, DCS will not know what to do when it receives an A and will do nothing. In general you can say that Target (or Joystick Gremlin or whatever software) will act as a keyboard substitute. But it can deliver much more then just send out a single command like a keyboard would do. Tip: you can only send one keyboard command at a time (you can press A and B at the same time but it will only generate one of the two) but you can use/send more then one DX button at a time (from within Target or if you directly bind your buttons in DCS) when using DX buttons instead of keyboard commands.
