Great map, but definitely resource hungry

32RAM is enough, VRAM is more important, what you have on your graphics card. -
Great map, but definitely resource hungry
YoYo replied to SandMan23's topic in DCS: Cold War Germany
I'm curious about my VR tests. Yesterday I couldn't download the map due to server problems. -
Nice!

Very slow speed between 0-16 kb/s. Ups :(. I guess the servers are clogged.
-
Of course, this would require a fairly large redefinition of the map, but generally you already have the mesh and textures :). The WWII version of the map would certainly be popular as well.

It's not quite like that, it depends on how you look at it. Note that preorders usually had a much lower price than Early Access (-30% even), so from the point of view of a customer who will buy it anyway, it's better to have preorder option than wait for the release because you'll gain more. The preorder has never had the same price as EA. Nobody is forcing you to buy it before as well …

Do you want to start pre order with some kind of the discount? In the last Wags video he said the the CW map will be released this month! So 2 weeks (really two weeks this time !)

Indiafoxtecho: DCS G.91 WIP SCREENSHOTS ******************************* Contrary to what we do with our MSFS projects, our progress reports for DCS projects are less frequent and, in many cases, way more detailed. Fact is that DCS development is way more time and resources consuming than MSFS, for a number of reasons - and one is the fact that the general expectations are higher in terms of realism and fidelity. BUT rest assured we have been working hard on DCS, and our next product, the G.91 is making slow but steady progress. Here are some work-in-progress images of the new external model with preliminary "bare metal" textures - once these will be complete, we'll proceed with the liveries.

Good to know! Thx for the reply.

Can you record the video with the sound? Do you use any mods with different sounds (ogher planes, objects)?
-
The modules have just disappeared from sale on Steam. If someone didn't buy it on Steam today, they won't.

The last chance is the Steam ;), all products of Razbam are here still: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2316890/DCS_F15E/ pairing accounts is very easy btw: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/500/

Can you put the track here or as P.message? Unfortunately, no chance, it's basically doing everything (almost) from scratch. On the plus side, I'll add that the region where this is happening corresponds very closely to the terrain around Jalalabad on Afghan map ((except textures for sure).

DCS Update | Mosquito Freeman's Folly | F/A-18C The Rampagers
YoYo replied to Graphics's topic in Official Newsletters
There was supposed to be IIWW somewhere around the turn of Q1 and Q2. It's probably May, or something simpler April, but of course that's speculation. There have been a few nice surprises from ED recently :). -

I hope that in the April patch we will also get a new cockpit for the Su-25A from FC. -
It was released for MSFS Today. Sorry for posting a video from another simulator here but I'm rooting for a 3rd party that will make it for DCS. #JaguarForDCS
