  1. Okay, just installed and got initial binds setup and started the 1st training mission. I have Warthog throttle set to the power levers (Cougar throttle for collective) but my power levers in game are not moving? I'm missing something obvious but no idea what - have tried the lockout/fingerlifts option in both settings, makes no difference, just can't move those power levers.
  2. That's what was confusing me, you're not flying (unless emergency) so use all the available button/hats/axis on the main controls first.
  3. Why use a game controller for the cp/g rather than just the same stick/throttle used for the pilot? More hats and controls.
  4. Sort of similar but also have a Warthog throttle so splitting use between the two grips.
  5. HI, is the throttle board/sensor still available? Emailed a couple of days ago but haven't heard yet. Many thanks.
  6. Anyone know if Kindle Fire 7 tablets are large enough for use behind Cougar MFD's or better off with Fire 8 ?
  7. Many thanks.
  8. I'm sitting on just the F-14 in my hangar at the moment so what would someone suggest to take advantage of the sale. Was thinking the A-10 but is it as up to date in terms of current graphics, modelling etc. or perhaps something else, the Harrier perhaps or a helo'?
  9. Is there an option to switch the Shift button - I'm finding it hard to keep a hold on S3 whilst reaching for something else on the stick. S2/Master mode would suit me better - appreciate this would probably be complex to configure though. Alternatively, can you have more than one button set as shift? Don't think so, but the speedbrake temporary back would be good for shifted states on the stick leaving S3 for shifted states on the throttle.
  10. Where do I get the latest download?
  11. Has anyone used Android tablets, e.g. Kindle Fire's, with suitable software to make them visible as external displays, for this?
  12. It's the throttle friction adjuster in the real setting, i.e. an A10, but is implemented as another analogue axis on the Warthog throttle (the 'real' friction knob being at the top edge as you note). Map it to what you want, view zoom etc.
  13. Many thanks
  14. Anyone have a StreamDeck profile setup yet and wants to share?
  15. Does anyone have an F14 profile setup yet?
  16. Could use symbolic links to move some things out to hd
  17. Think that's a little unfair, the cockpit is fully clickable, binds for everything from the start is unreasonable especially given the niche number of people that will actually have enough hardware to actually bind to and make use of all those requested axis and buttons.
  18. Just bought the F14 as my first proper DCS module after the original Black Shark. Found your work and really, really looking forward to this. Many thanks indeed.
  19. Thread necro! Sorry :) New user here and found this confusing at first, So, the settings, per device, per aircraft, are save when you OK everything. But, the Save As and Load, rather than saving or loading a complete set of assignments for the selected aircraft, do so only for the actual device selected? What if you save as to the same file for each of the devices? Will the single file get all the controls?
  20. Found: DCS_updater.exe update @openbeta
  21. Can you update release 2.5 to beta 2.5 or do I need to downad beta fresh?l
  22. Thanks. I've downloaded a Black Shark upgrade that was in my downloads, which needed DCS World 1.2 to install into as opposed to the standalone original. Didn't buy that though, was just there in the product downloads so not sure that's the same thing. Will see how it goes and whether it gives me a licence key.
