Thanks mbucchia, thanks... The performance is awesome, but with the default configuration, I perceive too much the changes in the (horrendous) VR DCS clouds (in HIGH) by the peripheral view when I don't look at them directly; I understand that I will have to try to change parameters in the settings.conf to make the "defined rectangle" bigger so as not to notice it so much... but, it is normal to perceive the change in resolution in peripheral vision?

Another sucker for maximun clarity here (with 4090) But... why 1.5 in oculus home and 1.3 in OTT... why not 1 in oculus home (default, without touch), and 1.8 in OTT?

Hello, another new user from G2. I have a 4090 and my settings (via OTT) are PD 1.6, bitrate 960 and encoder res 3905 (I have read the discussion and I notice a difference in favor of the higher value). But I'm trying FOV parameter and i don't know if it is working... it is supposed that with low values like 0.5 you should see black fringes in the limits?... because in my case it is not like that. Thanks.

Hello, I'm going to receive them next week, I come from a G2 with a resolution multiplier at 1.25% (nvidia 4090), and since I've gotten used to "looking with my head", I couldn't go back on the clarity that it gives me in the sweet spot in the MFDs. It is clear to me that you are all very happy since I have read the previous 14 pages, but when I receive them I would like to test them with parameters that give me that clarity (yes, the first impression is important ;-)). On the one hand, I understand that I will have to set the resolution to 1.5 or more, is that so? on the other hand, I have also bought the link cable; In this case, do I have to modify something so that the video compression is as low as possible or to use the default value to begin with? Thanks! -
I understand you, I don't even have it mapped but sometimes I miss it... although it doesn't seem like a cheat to me, I understand that since structural damage is possible, a real pilot will use it in very few cases.

No mods, update cleanup, update repair... the missions crash while loading. Tested in 2D SP, MT, VR... Only in these three missions, I don't usually have crashes, and the first time I can't follow a campaign because of that. I tested the rest of campaigns and aleatory missions and no problem. Hello, I have created a new F18 livery cockpit, modifying textures from vanilla, other mod users, editing them and running them through an AI enhancement software (among other things), and I am quite satisfied with the result. If I pack all the textures in ...DCS World\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Textures\FA-18C-CPT-TEXTURES.zip, it works, and I can view all the modified textures correctly. Now, I want share it, creating a selectable livery inside DCS menu to facilitate the installation. I created a folder in C:\Users\...\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_F-18C\gonvise@F18Cockpit with all the textures. For this, it is necessary to include the file description.lua. Well, I generatet it from Model Viewer 2.0. But when I select this livery from menu, it works but not completely... there are two textures that do not appear visually or in the description.lua: f18c_cpt-displayglass_cl_refl_RoughMet.dds --> Footprints in MFD's (great work watermarkpc) f18c_cpt-glass_cl_refl_RoughMet.dds -> Scratches in analog gauges I have managed to get the first one to work (based on trial and error) by adding this line to the file description.lua {"f18c_cpt-displayglass_cl", 13 , "f18c_cpt-displayglass_cl_refl_RoughMet", false}; but I don't see the way to make the other texture work, I have tried: {"f18c_cpt-hudl_cl", 13 , "f18c_cpt-glass_cl_refl_RoughMet", false}; {"f18c_cpt-glass_gauge_cl", 13 , "f18c_cpt-glass_cl_refl_RoughMet", false}; {"f18c_cpt-glass_gauge", 13 , "f18c_cpt-glass_cl_refl_RoughMet", false}; ..but nothing, the scratches do not appear. As you can imagine, it's my first attempt at texture editing, although I'm professionally dedicated to computing, the question would be where exactly to get the material where that texture goes, taking into account that if I put the two textures directly in FA-18C-CPT-TEXTURES.zip it works. Hello, Please, can someone confirm for me that the missions 6, 7 and 8 load without crash? In my case, the three crash while loading. Tested with no mods, after a repair, Single threading, NO VR... Thanks. PD: Already reported in with logs, but no answer yet.

This campaign has made me return the illusion of playing campaigns... I am tired of - Very long missions, which as a father and worker it is not possible for me to assume (DCS, a save point would be great); - Endless dialogues during the long flight to the combat zone that I don't need to hear - Unsuitable targets for mission and weaponry availbale (yes! let's go for that sam with dumb bombs!) - Second unexpected objectives when I have already finished the primaries and have no weapons .. And this campaign has none of that, although it's not for that reason that they stop being difficult and well-argued missions... old fashioned missions! Please, fix as soon as possible the mission of the helos... and allow labels if you really want to do it "player friendly"

Since I have the 4090 I have started using 125% resolution on steamvr or openxr. The quality and clarity in reverb G2 is superb.

The same, with bin-mt executable, the option --force_enable_VR launch DCS in openXR; using --force_steam_VR hangs during launch (at 14-16% for me). -
The best I've been able to do with the 4090 and reverb G2 is to put steam scale resolution to 150% (sorry but i tested oxr several times and I have not noticed performance increase) and enjoy clarity. Of course motion reprojection and with 45 FPS. The 4090 is perfectly capable of manage this upscale not being upset.

Hello, new user with Orión 2 base and F18 throttle grip. One question please... The TDC axis control has the possibility to work in three different modes; axis x-y, buttons, or a combined mode in which the two previous modes work at the same time. The problem is that the threshold at which the Axis trigger the corresponding button is very short... is there any way to change this threshold so that it does not trigger until it reaches the edge?

Hello, I have done two attempts with no luck. In the first, the tank, at 70 damage, "shoots down" one helo. In the second, with labels on, all units killed in PAPA except two soldiers... two soldiers "shoots down" one helo (with guns). Is normal? Two helos with special operators can't against two soldiers? I have to kill all the units? is frustrating!!!!

Tested modifying the five parameters in global profile. HP Reverb G2 with SteamVR (I do not like OpenXR, no performance increase and more blurry) and Fholger vrperfkit (CAS), can't live without sharper image now. For me, the change is almost imperceptible in land, perhaps a little more deph or contrast in F18 cockpit, or in AH-64D, from cockpit seat, the front "George" seat seems to me deeper, but I don't know if is placebo effect. But yes, in the air, in zones with forests and mountains, the effect is fully noticeable. Fly AH-64D Caucasus last mission (don't remember the name). After takeoff, you have to go to a water dam, shoot down one air defense and another vehicle, and fly across the valley... oh my god, the new effect shine here, look at mountains with forests at both sides, look the deph of the valley in front of you. A few months ago I try to fly DCS without mods... but with thinks like fholger vrperfkit, new CGTG Caucasus ground textures and this same, is impossible. For me, these three are a VR game changer.
