  1. You can also use the cursor and TMS up to change the active waypoint on the HSD page.
  2. It’s in the patch notes for the April 16th patch: Fixed: Hot/Air start should activate GPS Time.
  3. From the guide: “Saving the DTC file saves it within the DCS mission (.miz) file, and it can then be applied to aircraft.“ Did you save the mission after creating and saving a DTC?
  4. Interesting, there was a discussion about this a while back when this was first implemented and nobody seemed to think there was an issue with the radar only attempting to lock once TMS up was released.
  5. The issue that fix is referencing is that the radar could previously lock targets when it was showing as off, including while in the ground, not that it could be turned off. Also, this behavior changed before the Jan 20th patch
  6. In previous versions of DCS, Holding TMS UP while in ACM BORE mode would temporarily turn off the radar and NO RAD would be displayed on the HUD. After the Dec 24th patch, I noticed that NO RAD was no longer displayed when holding TMS UP. Steps to Test: Enter Dogfight Override Mode Press TMS FWD to enter BORE mode Press and Hold TMS FWD F16_ACM_BORE.trk
  7. It's intentional and has already been discussed here:
  8. According to the change logs, todays patch was to fix a crash
  9. The patch with the FM/FCS changes hasn't been released yet. You should test again after the patch containing those improvements has been released.
  10. DMS Down Long will still reactivate your HMCS if you turned it off that way. Is there any chance you raised your visor? That would also disable your HMCS.
  11. In the rearm menu, check the fuzing options (Yellow Triangle in the top left corner of each station with bombs) and ensure each of the stations that have the same type of bombs, have the same type of fuze. Using your screenshot as an example, you'd need to open up the fuze settings for the GBU-12's on Stations 3,7 and 8 The "Copy to all of the same weapon" button only copies the laser code
  12. You can also change laser codes while on the ground using the rearm menu.
  13. It kind of sounds like the binding on your throttle is holding the canopy switch in the down position after the canopy is fully closed. If the canopy switch is being held in the down position, it will prevent the canopy handle from being closed. If you have a 3 position switch available, that might let you return the switch to the neutral position and allow you to close the canopy handle.
  14. The other thread is tagged reported earlier
  15. You probably won’t be able to find it on steam until the patch goes live, and the patch was slightly delayed to the 4th. The patch status is kept up to date in this thread:
  16. You can currently save different default head positions for 2D and VR by pressing Right Alt + Numpad 0. I find you sometimes have to restart the game for the updated position to take effect though.
  17. According to this video that switch doesn't exist in the DCS Block 50 Viper
  18. Hi @Lord Vader I ran into something similar to this the other day and there seems to be some inconsistent behavior depending on which position the canopy switch is in when you press LCTRL+C. If the canopy switch was in the middle position, I had to hold LCTRL+C to close the canopy. Releasing those keys would stop the canopy from closing. If the canopy switch was in the up position, I didn't have to hold LCTRL+C to close the canopy. The switch remained held in the close position instead. In the attached track (Sorry it's in VR), I did the following: Tapped LCTRL+C to verify that it's a momentary action. Right Clicked on the canopy switch to open. Tapped LCTRL+C again. The switch was held down even though I wasn't touching the keyboard anymore. F16_CanopyClose.trk
  19. Laser codes are no longer set using the kneeboards. They can be set by using the new fuzing options
  20. Theres a conversation about trim here:
  21. It's likely Precision Mode on your R3 ultra
  22. Deleting the file and running a repair should redownload that file for you. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/repair/
  23. I think you’re right. After increasing the brightness a bit, I see the red flag on the right side
  24. FYI, You can do this already. About a year ago, they added the ability to select the _OFF version of joystick buttons using the Key / Button drop down on the Assignment Panel. If you bind the ALT HOLD and ATT HOLD normally and then bind both _OFF versions of those buttons to A/P OFF, that should get you the equivalent of a special for joystick binding
  25. I have to disagree Even sitting at the correct height with the backup sight is vertically aligned, symbology can still get cut off. The video I posted earlier might start lower than OP's screenshot, but moves significantly higher than any screenshot in this thread and doesn't show any symbology disappearing at the bottom of the outer glass. Also the darkness of the hangar makes it easy see the circles where symbology is being shown. Here's another example with a camera well above where the pilots head should be, and the steering line doesn't have a gap in it
