Harrier for fun. Yeah the F18 is a must have too. Nice fast jet in anticipation of the F16 if thats your thing. Im a Navy/Marine guy. So Shift, Ill gift you the Harrier, you get the F18 and Ill help you with both.

Seriously, I know of no bugs or missing features that stand in the way of flying this aircraft and Enjoying it for anyone that has enough interest. VSTOL is not that difficult, if you can walk, chew gum and solve Rubiks Cube, (kidding) at the same time. Harrier is unique in DCS, there should be one in everyones Hangar. I would be happy to gift the module. (Shift, check your PM.) Could probably join up in MP and TS and get airborne, doing vertical takeoffs and landings in short order. Weapon deloyment included. Even take you on a mission. That would be fun.

Beginner or not, i would not shy away from the Harrier. It is not that hard. The Harrier is a blast to fly. If you take the time to read up on it, you would be good with it in no time. Obviously, you are interested in the Harrier so go for it. “Its current state” is not a problem for enjoyment of flying the aircraft.

Have you deleted your FXO and metashaders folders lately? Then run game and they will be recreated. Can’t hurt

I use them regularly with no issues. However, they will not work if you are too low when you pickle them. Just saying, check that.

The middle finger is considered an obscene gesture in many places... I doubt ED would go there. So it would probably be up to a modder.

Start her up, taxi to runway, take off, auto pilot along the way for some outside views of my new jet, then Carrier landings until I get a 3 wire, RTB to land base, go supersonic on the way, buzz the tower, land and shutdown. Rearm with some weapons and deploy them, RTB, land. Debrief with my “friend” BK and repeat.

Too busy enjoying the F18 and Harrier... so really don’t care about a release date. I will crank it up when it drops in my hangar and then go gaga if it earns that reaction. I disagree with statements about age not being a factor of feeling the entitlement syndrome. We older folks have wisdom you young whippersnappers have not earned yet. Though I do admit sometimes it is entertaining, and that sometimes is rare, Mostly a yawn fest with an occasional LOL!

There is no “good” way to die when it comes to munitions. If not instantly killed, suffering ensues from wounds regardless of what is employed. Considering what some enemies have done and the suffering they inflict, I have no qualms with employing napalm. Its war, so not going to say oh gee, I’m sorry. So Give me Napalm with an F4 Phantom to deliver it. I could use a few FABs as well.

Maybe you should sign up for the Weekly News Letter. Chances are good they would give updates there if they have anything to share. :book:
