What an amazing community... I am ready for the Carrier Module Pre-Order...along with the pilots I have been flying online with for over 20 Years. This brings a whole new level to our sim regarding Naval Ops... Bring it! We are seeing things now with DCS that we have been wishing for... for like... forever. What a lucky bunch of Simmers we are. If not for DCS, I doubt I would even have a gaming rig. Things like this Carrier Mod and the nice stable of High Fed Jets we have is why I do. There are a-lot of half-empty glasses out there. Such a sad way to look at things.

Another FW190 and the Viper is cool I suppose. But much more I too am anticipating the Carrier Module. That and the new maps are all I wish for at this point. I won’t be flying the Viper but will be cool to see them in the Sim. <S>

Probably should hold out for the S. Once in the CV1, you will just want the upgrade of the S more. Although not expecting earth shattering improvement, it will be an improvement none the less.

Another addict here... I own almost all Modules but have uninstalled all but my favorites. I wish I could give those uninstalled away. Especially to those less fortunate. Kept Active: A10C F18 F14 F15 AV8 P51 Spitfire Huey FC3 - gathering dust F15 - gathering dust I can’t see myself buying anymore modules other than the Carrier and Maps. F16 burn out from Falcon, so no interest, but will be nice to see in game. All I want now is the Dynamic Campaign. I hope it is MP, I only fly MP since SP is boring to me. Prefer flying with and against human pilots. <S>

Curious, What case did you end up with?

Oculus S Pre-Ordered. Sending my CV1 to a squad mate in Hawaii so he can experience VR and throw up a bit.

That is a game changer for me. Can’t come soon enough.

Too funny...also funny it never happens to me. So how can it be a DCS Physics error? Almost looks like the pilot input rudder with NWS, if possible, or some such shenanigans. Ill try it tonight for the giggle factor.

Use TACAN, once you pass base or carrier, it will tell you how many miles you have gone past. Well dang, there you go! :joystick: :pilotfly:

This is not the first time this has been in the wishlist. I posted same a couple of times, at least over a year ago. Yes, pilots should have a life raft and not sink into oblivion and die ending the mission for him. Of course you could always hit escape and get another plane. Yes, many would love to be able to rescue pilots with their chopper. Myself included and in MP since I only fly MP. Brings another dimension to Carrier Ops as well. What? No-one remembers The Bridges of Toko-Ri and Mickey Rooney? Obviously, not everyone is all about realism. This would be fun in MP. I see chopper pilots in MP looking for things to do all the time. Also, interesting AI can eject and land on a Carrier but we as clients cannot. My RIO did just that last night. So just how hard can this be to implement?

LOL! Love them both but handling is quite different. Systems for each comes with seat time, one is no harder than the other. But For me... F18: Ferrari F14: Truck

Yes, There is clearance if you don't put a fan on top which is not needed with all the other fan options. Of course you could modify the top to fit a fan up there which a friend of mine did, but probably overkill. I have 4 large fans, two front, two back in push/pull. They are quiet as well. Also, I use a Noctua Air Cooler on the CPU. Be sure to get the grid top, not solid. Heat problems are no issue with this case. With the grid on all sides, the lighting on fans and components show nicely.

Yeah, it’s solid. One of the great things is that the motherboard tray is removable so you can put it all together outside the case, then just lay it in. Power Supply and Drives go downstairs. Airflow is also as good as it gets. Believe it comes with two fans. Plus can add more fans which I did. No worries fitting large Graphics cards.

I did a search and did not find a discussion on this so sorry in advance if I missed it. The Pilot Animations for the F14 is just stellar. Very Well done... Will ED take the cue and get this done for their modules? The immersion factor is just fantastic. Many Thanks to Heatblur for taking the time and initiative to implement this feature in the F14! What an awesome and fun Module! Very impressed with the product so far. :thumbup:

While all this conjecture is fine... it would be nice to get a progress report from ED.

All the Ladies??? Lol! Master VSTOL in the Harrier and impress her with Hovering, vertical landings in wind on the Tarawa, a slow spiraling descent approach in high cross winds to landing on an airfield. That would surely impress her. If you can get her to sit still long enough! All else is just to easy and mundane.
