Same here, Yup pretty funny, jumped by bandits I had to jettison two. When I peripherally saw the flash and smoke I initially thought I had been hit. But then I saw them at my 12 high, streaking away side by side. Hilarious.

Not quite true...it is still quite cool. I use a 65” Samsung 8 Series 4K for my monitor when not in VR. I sit about 4 ft away and its about right. I love VR but also love the eye candy. So I do both. Have been using big screens for about 8 years now. Could never gp back to those little monitors. Just finished a 450 sq ft addition which is my new man-cave. I will be adding an 80” Super-wammy-dyne screen for gaming. Maybe I’ll back up another foot or two lol.

Warthog stick for sure. Had mine what...about 7 years now, xero issues. Some have complained about it, but I havent seen what they whine about. If it died today, I would buy another. If you are all about eyecandy, monitor. If you want immersion and feeling like you are actually there then by all means VR. I still gotta see both. Love VR but need to enjoy that eye candy now and then.

Didnt know this as I had gifted a “used” chopper not that long ago. This is sad, I have many modules I would like to give away.

I believe it is and can be done in your ED Account. If I remember correctly, you just unbind and then bind it to the new user. You will need their login name. It then shows up in their acct. then they activate it in game. I am planning to clean out my hangar and gift all of those aircraft I never fly as well. Which are many. List includes the Hawk, that is, if anyone wants it!

Happy for those who want it. Will be cool to see it in traffic. But it is a pass for me. Just Not excited for it. The F18, Harrier and F14 will keep me busy for my remaining days. Along with the WWII Birds. Though I did enjoy it back in the Falcon era.

What is the reasoning behind telling us we have a new map coming but not telling us what it is? Perhaps to not have to deal with and delay the inevitable gnashing of teeth if it is not what is desired by some?

Since The HARM for the Hornet will be mode limited, what will be the range and typical distance for lock on target?

For me there is nothing disappointing...Especially the Hornet. It is in EA and I appreciate that we have it rather than still waiting. I have been waiting for 20+ years for a high fidelity F18 in a decent graphics engine with nice maps. Elated this has happened during my lifetime. There were times I had doubts it would ever happen. So I am thankful for ED and DCS. At this point, my simming life would suck without them. There are us older sim pilots that appreciate what we have considering from where we have come over those many years. In fact, I am enjoying the Hornet so much that I dont give a rats arse whether it is updated every two weeks or not. But I know it will come. Being impatient and then disappointed because a patch does not come with the goodies you want when you want it makes no sense at all. The F18 record to date does not justify that.
