  1. FYI, in VR, just getting the LOS Reticle inside of the Boresight Reticle Unit and disregarding the circles works for me and others. It may not be the way it was intended but it works. ED has not confirmed if this is a bug or not.
  2. Ok. I just tried this method 6 times. 3 Hot starts and 3 cold starts and it works for me. Maybe it's not suppose to work this way but it does. Just get the LOS Reticle inside of the Boresight Reticle Unit and disregard the circles. I get much much better results this way. Maybe there's a bug in VR where the circles are misaligned as I mentioned in my thread. Thanks @DirtyMike0330 for the tip.

  5. I'm mainly practicing with the gun and I always set the range to Auto. I've heard if you WAS another weapon and go back, you have to input your range again. But like I said, I always use Auto.
  6. Unfortunately, this did not help. I still have to move my body & head around to get the reticle close to the pattern's center.
  7. Ok, so this is kinda what I've discovered. I have to really move my head position around to get the LOS Reticle to work with the BRU Pattern. That's the key. To get the reticle as close to the center of the pattern as possible. Once I get that working my aiming works. Looks like your suggestion is much easier than me manually moving my head around like a fool. I'll give it a try. I set range to auto in the pilot seat. I'm still trying to figure out how to fly this amazing bird, so, I haven't even touched the CPG seat yet.

  9. Hi All, For the life of me, I cannot figure out why my bullets are so far off where I'm aiming the gun. I saw in Wag's cold start video, he uses the LOS Reticle to do the IHADSS Borsighting to get the circles spaced out properly. However, I cannot do that. My LOS Reticle sits really high in my VR headset. I just move my head around until the circles are properly spaced to boresight. I've noticed by default, the F.O.V. box sits really high inside the F.O.R. box as you should be able to see in the attached track. In the screenshot, I show where I aimed and where the bullets landed. As you can see nowhere near each other. I know the gun isn't meant to be a sniper, but it should not be this far off. I'm really hoping it's something I'm doing wrong and not a bug. Can someone PLEASE look at this short track and let me know what I'm doing wrong? It's driving me crazy. Thanks in advance!!!   10. Yes, where are those concrete structures and technicals? I've looked in the static objects-> structures but do not see them. Edit: I see the concrete barrier in Cargo category but not the technicals in the ME.

  13. I would definitely love to see On-Call Tasking missions in different urban areas that include pin-point targets for hellfires and groups of insurgents for guns.
  14. The newsletter didn't cover the 2022 video. Has there already been official info on what those coordinates meant and the hud reticle?
  15. Thanks for trying, but it really should not have to take all this effort. This can easily be tested and anyone with VR can clearly see the difference as soon as you un-pause the game. Not to mention there's plenty of evidence in the thread already. Yes there's rain in VR, but the dynamic rain drops that roll on the canopy does not show in VR, but it does in 2D. TBH, this issue is not even that crucial, which is probably why no one from ED has taken anytime to look at it. So, thanks again for checking on the status @Flappie.

  17. Unfortunately, this is still an issue. No dynamic rain drop effects in VR. As stated throughout this thread, you can easily notice the difference between 2D and VR. The bigger dynamic rain drops, that move with the wind and the contours of the canopy, does not appear in VR as they do in 2D.
  18. I strongly agree. The new camera transition they're working is an example of this. This feature was not on that list. I know they're working on things but it still sucks that nothing tangible has been provided since the release in May 2020. With that said, whatever they're working, I know it's going to be great.
  19. Yes I do use freeze mode. I'll try without using it, but as you said it's hard to move the cursor. It's snaps back to the steerpoint automatically and it also moves really slow.
  20. Has anyone been able to use RedKite's static template solution on the Forrestal? I can't get it to work and I didn't find this out until after I completed my template. So a lot of time wasted.
  21. @Frederf How is the GBU that close to the target when you're viewing my track? My original attempt was no where near that close. Also, when I replay the track the GBU misses far from my SPI. See the screenshot below. Something weird is going on. The OP and I can't be the only ones having this issue.
