  2. Has there been any footage of flying in & out the new clouds? Even the clouds video didn't show this, at least I didn't notice. Just wondering what the transitions look like in the cockpit.
  3. Yes, NL already mentioned the Infantry will be getting an update. It was recently brought to my attention that the Georgian soldier has a really good model and animation. I started using that model instead of the USA soldier model. Check it out.
  4. Wow, your post should be a sticky for those that ask for dates. Perfect example of damned if you do, damned if you don't. ED always provides disclaimers on release dates. So you must have selective reading which is probably why you missed the "subject to change" disclaimer after the date.

  7. Hi All, As the title says, this only happens when flying, however, it's normal in the main menu. There's a slight double vision which makes me a little dizzy when trying to focus on the fpsVR display values. It happens in both Reverbs and it's been like this for a while. Is anyone else having/had this issue? Is there a fix for it? Thanks!!!

  9. Daaaamn. You got hella patience. I took a quick stab at it, but I couldn't figure out which values rotate the plane's position. Looks like you're on the right track. Good job, CM2020.
  10. Maybe loading the CVN in the ModelViewer can help you i.d. the texture you need to modify.
  11. My apologies for not reading the entire post. Which tools are you using to open the .dds file? Do you have photoshop? Also, I don't recall ED ever releasing a template for the SC which has the .psd files with all the layers.   12. Have you tried the Textures folder? Plenty of .dds files in there.
  13. THANK YOU. That was my missing piece. I knew it was something simple. BTW, the "Then I changed the catapult 2 to catapult 1 " step is not needed. That's just a comment in the file. The code ignores those.

    I wonder if fog will get updated for 2.7 release. Right now it's either on or off. We need the ability for the fog to grow or dissipate over a length of time.
  15. So commenting out the first 4 RunwayIdx sections doesn't allow any spawns on the first 4 six-pack spots, which is what I want in my SP missions. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to deactivate a Catapult like in the video. It's really annoying that the person did not provide the file or instructions on how to achieve this. I guess we have to figure it out like they did.
  16. I think you'll have to play around with the "USS_Nimitz_RunwaysAndRoutes.lua" file. Maybe commenting out the "RunwayIdx = 2" section which seems to be Cat 2. Make sure you backup the file first.

    Maybe there's new soldier animations and models. In the 2021 & Beyond video, starting ~ 3:22, I noticed a soldier walking at the bottom right of the screen. That animation does not currently exist. Looks to be more realistic.

    The only thing I know of specifically are clouds. I don't know if ED has ever mentioned other specifics for the next major release. I know in 2.5.6 release they mentioned the big improvement was lighting and other gfx effects.
  21. Would've been nice to get a roadmap questionnaire for the SuperCarrier like the Hornet especially since nothing major has been added since initial release. I feel the flight deck and ATC should be top priority. Most importantly better fps in VR. Also, better AI pathing logic, more deck crew activity like directing traffic, the ability to select which parking spot to spawn on in single player, etc. The only non-flight deck feature I want is the ability to control the elevators. However, that's a moot point since there is no auto-towing system for the Player. There's no denying that ED hasn't released much since the initial release which is surprising since the SC is pretty much the first of its kind for PC. I figured ED would ride that wave.
  22. Isn't this due to WMR not being native VR to DCS? That's why it doesn't happen in the Rift, right?
  23. Do you know which functions/values control the dynamic droplets in these 2 files?

    Reverb G2

    How is this possible? Can you please provide a screenshot of your DCS settings? I don't see how you're running the G2 @ 100%SS, 2x MSAA, on a 2080ti with no shimmering. Over water I could see that but not on the SC or airbases.
