Warthog stick and throttle. All aircraft were operating fine. F16, F14. Suddenly only 98% on hornet, then go to afterburner and only 1 or 2 % increase. Other aircraft not affected at all. I’m relieved it isn’t my throttle. I have reset the axes to default to no avail. The controls graphic has full movement as it should but in aircraft no burner?

Seems to be functioning ok now. (very fiddly software but fun in a masochistic way!). If i get any more problems i will get back. Thank you for your time so far.

Yes thank you . It is mirror folder structure on root of drive. writes it when voice attack is closed down. Yes reinstalled voice attack first. I have persisted but starting to play on my nerves as my kneeboard gone again.

Reinstalled again. Viacom makes a folder dcs outside of my install. So I copied the files into the main dcs directory into mods and scripts.Kneeboard ok now. Every time i certainly pointed the install to my A/DCS openbeta folder as required in the control panel and ticked fix registry also. So a bit strange but it’s working.

Have purchased. Have validated . Have added keywords as directed. Doesnt show at all?! Have reinstalled X 2. Any ideas anyone.

Hello. I like many others realise that the warthog throttle TDC is not ideal and can be replaced by the Deltasim kit. My position is this.- I don,t have a particular problem with the movement of the cursor(which i can see that the deltasim kit improves), but I do have a problem with designating a target through the Depress. Can anyone advise me as to whether this is improved in the deltasim kit. It would be pointless for me to upgrade if the function of the depress was about the same. Thank you.

Hi, Trying to get to know harrier more. As you all prob know, to get targets from f10 to harrier CAS, rshift,rightalt,8 needs to be pressed. My right alt comes up as Ctrl. I sort of know about ALTG strangeness , but cant really get my head around sorting this. I would be grateful for some guidance. Thank you.

Well, I,ve been running a 2080super with a rift s, my mate runs a quest 2 off a amd 6800xt. These cards give quite good performance in vr( of course it all depends on dcs settings!! ). And I understand that the quest2 has been getting better and better with upgrades to software. HOWEVER. I have made a jump to a 3080 and the performance of these cards are something else, but of course , price and shortage come to mind. i have wasted money in the past so by experience, a 3080, 3080ti or amd equivalent would rock in vr. Bear in mind that processor is important also to handle the “ workings” of the sim and at least 32 gb ram. It is an expensive hobby but often I’ve bought “ lesser components” and regretted it the following year! I gulped when I bought my 3080ti but don’t regret it for a mo. most cards will run at 100 % so no worries there about “ breaking point” , it’s just you’ll have to turn all the settings down with your card and have a reduced experience or stuttering. It’s all about quality v performance. Syria at 15 FPS is not fun! Best of luck

Hello,when testing my new gfx card I realised this is not fixed. In hangar 20fps, roll out and up to 40 again. On “ king of the hill mission” . very odd. And I see reported 0ne year ago!

Multiplayer yes to 32gb. I’m in vr usually and found 64 gb did improve things for me, but that’s another thing.

There is a 3 key combo to get rid of the message. I think you can map it to any key you want. I map it to voice control. If srs is installed it will always give that message as far as I know.

Just my experience. Took a punt on extra 32gb up to 64gb and found in multiplayer it does improve things for me, smoother less slowdowns. Glad I bought it as I was prepared for negligible improvement or none ! 10700k at 5ghz, 2080 super

My recent experience- had 32gb ram. Having freezes and slowdowns multiplayer. Thought prob was gfx vram as only! Have 8gb 2080 super. Anyway upgraded to 64 gb ram ( I know! ). But no more slowdowns!? Ram use does go over 32gb. Preload has an effect also in ram I don’t think high number has much of a benefit.20000 should be fine. 16gb ram not enough for certain. At 16 go your probably getting swapping between disks and ram, I think I was hence slowdowns. Good luck. This was just my experience as it was.

I use VAC for voice control which I purchased years ago (£13. Now). Main calls I make on it are , esc, arm aircraft, awacs, f10, but mostly comms. A great innovation has been pointctrl. (£ 147 inc postage to Uk, yes waiting list but it is moving faster). You don’t have to set many key combos on your sticks because you press the controls in the a/c !!. Either hand used. Good luck
