The 030 is your bearing to your target and the 24 as you already know is your range to the target.

The EOS is your electro optical system. It's the small ball infront of the windscreen in the MiG-29 and Su-27/33. It is there to suplement the radar. It works by detecting heat signatures against backgroung ambient tempture. It works best if the enemy is facing away from you, heat from the engines you see. It can allow you to detect and track targets without alerting their ECM and RWR gear. It's a passive system. It has far less range than a radar. The best detection range you will get out of it is around 50km. It will allow you to fire your gun, and any IR missile. eg R-73, R-27T, R-27ET. It will not provide guidance for radar guided missiles. eg R-77, R-27R, R-27ER. Your EOS is not on by default but if you are tracking an enemy by radar and loose lock, the EOS will automatically take over. And vice versa.

Only the MiG-29S has the built in ECM jammer.

What you are aiming for is to get the light on the left and right strips in the center position. The left light is your height indicator and the right is your speed indicator. The system was originally set up for heavy bombers like the B-52 thats why the lights are kinda messed up for fighter pilots. Left hand controls the right light, right hand controls the left light. To a bomber pilot of a B-1, B-2 or B-52 it would be the other/right way round. In the above screen the speed is bang on, and he's just a little too low. As you can see the boom is extended all the way.

I landed the Su-25T on the Kuz but the nose gear broke off when it rolled up the ramp and stopped just before it rolled off.

Well the fastest I,ve landed the Su-27 at was around 370kph. Madness I know, I had the stick buried full foward to keep it on the ground and the chute worked fine. Fuel ran out and I was very high up at the time, hence the speed. In Lomac I think it will deploy once weight is on the wheels.

The part I really like about the Superbug is that it is also used as a tanker. I bet it bearly gets off the deck with 4 tanks and a buddly pack. A fighter starved of fuel and drinks like a alcoholic is tasked to refuel the same draggy, fuel starved airframe as itself.

You need the radar to be working for FLOOD mode with the AIM-7. The AIM-7 is blind without a radar showing it where to go. If your radar dies you may as well fire off the -7s to get rid of the dead weight.

Probably about a 2 days, no joke. I used to be in that boat a year ago. Broadband is great and I never take it for granted. You should try and look into getting yourself hooked up. Unless you happen to live in an area where it's not avaible yet.

Last I heard I think it was around 11-15 Megs. That would take around 2 hours on dialup, I think. Maybe you could leave it overnight or take someone up on their very kind offer.

I have problems with Loman 5. When I try to change the filter on what I want to down load eg. cockpits. A warning error message comes up saying the script is not supported. And it's not conflicting with other versions of Loamn or addons as there are none on my harddrive since it was wiped.

I have put my eye on this stick. The only thing is it will cost me E169.95, for just the stick while I can get a HOTAS Cougar for E199.95 from the same site. If I want the throttle as well, which I do it will cost another E169.95. Whats the deal here? I thought the Cougar was the most expensive stick/Hotas around. If anyone knows where I can get a brand new CH Fighter Stick for less could they please let me know. Cheers,:D
