    Track is better, for the switches states it should work OK if you start your replay with a restarted DCS.
  3. There should be an option in DCS, something like "allow custom snapview saving", I guess it controls the same flag.
  4. As soon as electric system is ON. You don't need to wait 3 minutes before starting the engines - as long ad the aircraft doesn't move it's OK.
  5. I thought it was the correct logic (the pilot knows it's not operating below X knots). I'm OK either way as long as we don't fall into a state where the light is OFF but the pilot doesn't know if the system is actually ON or OFF. If the light (DIRAV) turns OFF when the speed is higher that X knots, the system should be also disengaged for good (requiring a new press on the HOTAS button to re-activate it).

  7. Yes you can use one key to brake, it makes braking easier indeed. Also you are maybe braking too soon, I apply brakes under 80 knots usually, after letting the aircraft slow down by itself. But all of this applies to landing, if you're swerving on take off also it might be just crosswind. Maybe the symmetry problem wasn't fixed after all. I don't notice it anymore but it might be still here?
  8. I assume there is no crosswind? Do you accidentally press the toe brakes? Is one toe brake slightly stuck? I know it's obvious but it happened to me a lot of time until I corrected the way I put my feet on it, when flying tbe A-10. edit: There was a gear symmetry problem in past versions but it should be fixed by now.
  9. I can't tell. Things that used to work in 1.2 don't work anymore and I didn't experiment much.
  10. Try options.lua, I don't have my computer right now so I can't tell the exact path. I don't even remember if it is in game directory or in user saved games but that should be enough to find it.

DCS User Manual also has a section about controls, around page 22 DCS World\Doc\DCS User Manual EN.pdf The most confusing thing is that you need to create a profile for each controller and also that each controller might change ID if you plug in another USB port, requiring you to remap again. You can Save/Load a profile for the same aircraft and the same controller, however it's not recommended (I don't even know if it works) to save a profile for an aircraft / controller and load it for another aircraft (as the control definition is different).

Edit the file \DCS World\Config\View\Server.lua Min and max FoV are in CameraViewAngleLimits structures, most aircraft will use the default (from default_fighter_player), some have their own values. Example: CameraViewAngleLimits = {20.000000,140.000000}, Here Min FoV is 20 and Max FoV is 140 (it's been a while I didn't play with that, I hope they didn't change it). -------------------- EDIT, it seems they changed the way it's done for new aircraft. For example the M-2000C view settings are in \DCS World\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\Views.lua For P-51D the file above should work. Search for "ViewSettings" otherwise.

  18. I think you get only one campaign among the two, so if you got the F-15 one already you may not be able to get the A-10 one. EDIT: okay, according to this post you might get it after all (since you bough the map before Oct, 1 2015): However, other users beware!

  20. Any warnings on the caution panel? I think PAC-1 will work only if LASTE is working (EAC must be ON I think).
  21. But the FBW should take care of preventing funky movement. In SPIN mode I agree it should be that effective but not in NORM mode.

  24. I think I read somewhere from the VR users that AAR was indeed much easier, as well as formation flying. Can anyone confirm?
  25. For info, TIR means SHOOT. About going directly in SST, I think it should do this only in close combat mode.
