Interesting that you think throwing horsepower (hardware) will fix all of the problems. Have you considered that coding has not adapted sufficiently? If you look at the CPU/GPU usage of most games vs. their VR performance, coding is a much more likely culprit than lack of processing power.
Lots of things are convenient but not all of them are a good idea. Btw, how many Subway's can you do that at? I am guessing, very few. From an international point of view, number of merchants that currently accept BitPay is very, very small.
The bottom line is that, based on current code and tech, DCS could not simulate napalm in any way. If you can't do shrapnel from bombs and can't disable a tank then napalm would be nothing more that a useless visual effect. Imagine a soldier that is 75% disabled by napalm. By DCS standards he could still fire a rifle and shoot down a Huey. Please don't bother with useless crap.
No matter where you shop, finding matching sticks is still hit or miss. Just because they work doesn't mean that your second set doesn't cause your first set to run at a lower level. Memory is a tricky thing.
Indeed. Specing proper additional RAM becomes more difficult over time. Even properly speced RAM can be an issue due to minor differences in the batch.
I know it is old news but password that contain actual words or phrases are easy targets. Nonsensical combinations of letters, numbers and other characters are always the best.
I am a firm believer in more power is a good thing. I probably average 50% more power than the specs indicate. I consider it to be worth the extra cost.
Let me understand this. You want the sale to end in a rolling time based on the buyer's time zone. How exactly would you administer this? There is not a company in the world that does this. A sale ends at a specific time in a specific time zone and that is it. Plan ahead.
Since this would require a complete rebuild of every mission/campaign to insert specific save points, and given the current method of saving track/replay info, I don't see this as something that will happen anytime soon. Also, since this has been asked about many times over the years and ED has never responded the outlook is not promising.
As much as it pains me, but Nvidia prices have remained stupid for too long. I will probably regret it since I still think that AMD can't write a decent driver to save their lives.
