  1. If you decide to separate the two then I am interested in the throttle.
  2. Thank you all for the entertainment. ;)
  3. Consistency with regard to cockpit controls has been an issue for nine years now (and that was when the only two modules came from ED). I have little hope that it will ever get the attention that it deserves.
  4. Give it a try. Once you speed forward, 99% of the time, your track will no longer match what happened.
  5. That will depend on what Heatblur decides. Most of the time a newly released module is marked as 'NEW' and will not be available for bonus use. However, that is not a hard rule so there is no way to predict what the situation will be for the F-14.
  6. I am curious how the view file ends up in a mission. Is there a check box for this? I have seen it happen many times over the years and it is annoying as hell.
  7. I suspect that something like a Chinook would be quite a bit of work from a flight model standpoint. It would be an awesome bird to fly but the rotor setup would require a lot of new work to model correctly.
  8. Wow. As if the trees were the biggest problem in DCS. Fix 1000 other issues and then address the trees.
  9. The modules are not that expensive. A gift is something that should cause the giver to have spent thought and money. Giving away a used item is not a gift, IMHO. I have given away about two dozen modules, before they made it difficult, and they were always newly purchased items that were given away.
  10. IIRC, the real aircraft has the stick at 15 degrees CCW. This should be true for any center mounted stick, IRL. However, an individual pit/person might find slightly different numbers to work well for them.
  11. Are you sure the warnings you have have expired? Some of them don't.
  12. Since the current reply function is a total failure, I would rather see that fixed/changed so that it works before trying to add any other functionality.
  13. Isn't it sad that you should need to overclock a top end CPU to make DCS run well.
  14. I can't help but ask why one would want to do that.
  15. Two different companies. The CE is from M3 and the F-14 is from Heatblur. How can one be held responsible for the actions of the other?
  16. Of course. DCS does not even have to run well, it just has to run.
  17. Oh please. Leatherneck broke up and now M3 is trying to say that they are still Leatherneck. The names are meaningless. All that matters is which persons are associated with M3 and which are associated with Heatblur. The distinction is easy. M3 creates great art but little substance. Heatblur creates great substance but is more interested in hype than actually producing a product in the timeline that they announce.
  18. Which is the root of the problem. Once the module is sold there is little motivation to fix anything.
  19. No. DCS has to be installed, and running, on the machine that initiates the download.
