  1. So I set the Mirage on an intercept course with an Il-76. I set his fuel bar all the way down and instead of refueling with the Il-76, he made a run for home base. I went back into the ME and replaced the IL-76 with the S-3 and the Mirage decided to pull up and have a drink.
  2. I had the Mirage refuel from an S-3 just the other day. I will try it with the Il-76 and get back to you with a track
  3. Can I assume that talk about projects in the future is an indication that BS is almost ready for release? ... I know when its done...

  8. 5 out of 11 is hardly the majority (3 of them are the KC-130 pilots) http://www.blueangels.navy.mil/index.htm Anyway, even being a former Marine, I have to say the Hornet sux compared to the Tomcat!
  9. 159th may be interested. We have our regular squad flights at 2000 GMT on Sundays.
  10. Tu-22, IL-76 and both Bear variants have rear cannons. It takes some practice going gunzo on them!

  15. Why stop at AIM-54's... Lets make it possible for people to run around with S-300 sites as loadouts. There is no way you can justify an Su-27 carrying a AIM-54 as any where near real.
  16. How much weed does one have to smoke before they see what your stoned a$$ is talking about? :P
  17. :megalol: Good Laugh! THANKS! Countdown till this thread is locked.... anyone? :smilewink:
  18. :megalol: ya... they do look alot alike  FYI CH-53 basics: The "J" version, flown by the Airforce, is a modified "D", with ECM equip, crew serve mounted mini-guns and a tail mounted 50 cal. It even has kevlar matting throughout the entire cabin.. pretty kewl! The "E" version, flown by the Corps, has three engines, an extra rotor blade, tail is canted 15 degrees and is the one pictured. Flown by the Wolf Pack (HMH-466) during the first gulf war. (Screw Crew rules!) The MH-53E is the version flown by the Navy. It is a mine sweeping bird with an extra hydraulics system for towing the mine boom. It also has larger sponsons instead of stub wings and drop tanks. Otherwise it is about the same as an echo. Here is a paint scheme I posted a while ago http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=17996
  19. Sorry, but that Mi-24 paint scheme is a bit more impressive
  20. I have some better pics that I will dig up and post later

  22. He went to all that trouble... least he could do is dye that baby blue seat cushion olive drab or something!!!
  23. I have to disagree. SO i went out last night and bought more memory. I am now up to 768mb, and with ending the programs in the background I have over 600mb for lock-on to play with. After I upgraded I tried again entering a mission with only a couple of players in it. I again got the "press S" caution sign. I then uninstalled lock-on, modman and used the starforce removal tool. I then defraged my C:\ drive and reinstalled the programs. I then modified my config server.lua file to 600 for each time out. I then joined a multiplayer game on 504th server, with no problems other than a long load time. Who do i think the culprit is? Could be starforce, could be a virus my system isn't catching... Lock-on has also been crashing after a fresh boot-up. Everytime it crashes on the first load-up, I get "caution press s" in multiplayer on subsequent loadups For right now things are fine, no crashes and no press s, I think I am just going to be plagued with frequent reinstallations
  24. Thanks for the info Gazehound, I had no idea the config file could be modified in that way. WTF! I will contact someone in my squad for a config.lua file, and I'll report back if that fixes the problem.
  25. ED: Can you confirm that you have read this and do you have any suggestions?
