  1. There is no (feasible) way to control other people's physical displays.
  2. Seems clear to me that the gates aren't closing around the desired target, but rather something in the fore/background. A solid lock will have the target object right in the center. On top of that, the locked gates are jumping around erratically - not sure what that might indicate?
  3. See the spectrogram and reply I posted above.
  4. It's not so much a "high pitch" issue as it is that the center frequency is close to that of the center frequency of human hearing (~4kHz). Those who suffer tinnitus or other hearing damage/loss often have an accompanying hyperacusis (sensitivity to sound). A loud sound near the frequency that humans hear best (4kHz) will be very annoying or even uncomfortable for them.
  5. I see it in every A-10 cockpit video I find. Regardless, Snoopy would know.
  6. Source? I'm guessing it's your posterior.
  7. There are several other tones present in the sample, with one particularly nasty one between 4.7 - 4.9kHz. That would definitely agitate one's tinnitus.
  8. Same. Most of my time has been in the A-10C, so I try to mimic its general layout across modules as much as is possible. Obviously with some planes there are very few similarities, but every little bit helps.
  9. The problem isn't with being allowed to sell it, it's with being allowed access to the necessary data to simulate the systems/flight model/etc.

  11. Delete a client's markers when they disconnect, then. The very helpful self-appointed map police deleting your markers can get kind of annoying when you are trying to create a flight plan for the Viggen.
  12. Agreed. I fly everything with my Warthog and pedals, and I know guys who fly everything with just a twist-stick. It's more fun than not flying at all!
  13. +1 I've been an A-10 nut ever since I saw one up close at a Boy Scouts Jamboree back in the early 80's. That said, no module has so fully engaged my interest and imagination as the Viggen, all due to its unique qualities/capabilities.
  14. Oh, nevermind. I see the funnel in your picture now. You clearly mean the radar computed gunsight, which is not yet implemented.
  15. Have you bound your dogfight switch? It's in the "Throttle Grip" section of the control options menu.
  16. "Set depth to 14 meters, comrade!"
  17. Are you not using a modifier on your Warthog? Clearly something needs to be done considering the future/planned integrated radio, though. The long-press for PTT idea is interesting. There might, however, be a problem with people speaking before the long-press is committed, thereby cutting off the top of their message. It's already a problem with normal PTT, to be honest.
  18. Are you saying that the clickable switches on the lighting panel don't work?

  20. Exactly like the F-15s and their 20mm cannon? And no visual evidence of any kinetic energy being expended anywhere? Weird.
  21. Have you ever seen a movie before? Because that's what that footage is from. A bad movie about Red Flag. There are no actual impacts in that sequence. In fact, there are "hits" in places that are facing away from the approaching planes. Tell-tale puffs of smoke followed by slow gouts of sparks - that's not what it looks like when HEI hits steel. Not to mention the Hollywood fireball that springs from the ground. And the planes are Eagles, not Hogs, so asserting the footage is "real" is asserting (taking into account the context that this footage has been used in this topic) that the Vulcan is more effective against armor than the Avenger.
  22. Again, this is a cinematic of two F-15s flying over a tank covered with squibs. How anyone can think this is either real or relevant is beyond explanation.
