  1. Well... To the issue of OP's speedbrakes, why are you trying to engage them on an attack run in the first place? The A-10 needs all of the speed/energy it can get, and dumping all of that energy right before you need it most is a recipe for disaster.
  2. There are actually three sounds - the gun firing, the rounds breaking the sound barrier, and the rounds impacting. Where you are relative to the plane and its target determines how they all mix together. In certain situations, you could hear all three distinctly, while in other situations you might hear them all at once. In most "gun run" videos, you hear the sonic booms and the impacts at about the same time, followed by the gun.
  3. All you really need to read there is Eddie's last post:
  4. Make sure you are in "A-10C Sim" mode, and not "A-10C Game" mode.
  5. No arrestor or catapult: Though obviously it was not deemed practical.
  6. The computer only has knowledge of the terrain. When you target an object, you know that you are looking at a building/vehicle/etc. The computer, however, is looking through that object at the ground beyond. You need to lase the target to give the computer an accurate distance measurement, which will then give it an accurate target point in 3D space.
  7. I run my headphone and TrackClip cables through 1" Techflex, turning the whole affair into a tidy & tacticool umbilical.
  8. It was thought out very well, actually. Install DCS World, then install the A-10C module. You can activate the module with the key you got from Steam. You can uninstall the standalone version if you like, but it isn't necessary.
  9. The collimited HUD is focused at infinity, so it does not change size relative to your distance from it. This is normal behavior.
  10. Only the IR pointer, not the ranging/designating laser.
  11. Mynd you, hyppø bites Kan be pretty nasti...
  12. It's very easy to use, and can enhance your MP experience greatly. Just make sure to grab the correct version for your system (32/64 bit). http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads Welcome!
  13. Things always work out in the end, my friend.
  14. Welcome, Waits! You'll find that this is a very supportive and helpful community.
  15. LCtrl + arrow keys = TMS hat. You are trying to set a SPI? The HOTAS command for that is TMS UP LONG, which translates to LCtrl + up held for @2 seconds.
  16. It also clearly illustrates how the "receiver" doesn't hear it until it's too late.
  17. Link is messed up for me on Firefox, here it is for anyone with the same issue:
