  1. Thanks Lecuvier, do you know how I can do this?
  2. Can toggle airbrake be modded? I really hate the fact that I have to bind the airbrake to two buttons. It’s annoying and in a dogfight just adds to the confusion. Is there any way this can be edited in the f-18 files.
  3. I will go with this one
  4. I set the curves to 25.
  5. Thanks Jabbers I'll try that. Congrats on hooking up a contract with HBS by the way!!!!
  6. Haha!!! Yeah I guess it's sherlock holmes time to figure this shit out lol. Another thing that popped up is left and right throttle controls do not work independently of each other. I have to leave for work soon so other than checking my left and right throttle in Windows (they work), I don't have time to do more troubleshooting. I assume a lot of helpful info will come out in the next 24-48 hours.
  7. Ran into this issue with the X56. Not sure if it affected the warthog HOTAS as well. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=234911
  8. Once everything is updated and you’ve installed the Tomcat, DCS may default the throttle controls to pitch and roll so just remap it and you should be good. I haven’t checked to see if the same thing happened with the other modules so be warned. It might pop up.
  9. Just a heads up for those with the Logitech X56 HOTAS, the throttle controls default to the elevators in a very weird way. I experienced it and I’ll report back with a simple fix if there is one. It’s probably just a matter of unplugging and replugging and re-calibrating the axis.
  10. And on that note, has anyone heard about a possible release date?
  11. This definitely makes sense. MAC is a HUGE undertaking, forcing the DCS team to not only integrate several aircraft into the game but to also make them flyable with Keyboard and mouse as well as the perfect precursor to DCS World. The appeal that MAC has is it will attract entry level and new simmers to DCS and give them a platform that keeps the fun factor high as they learn. MAC will also help generate the revenue necessary to sustain further projects. DCS once said that the illusion that they are "raking in the cash" is false. That may change with MAC to their benefit..... The question from that point forward will be; Will they let the money control their decisions? Will they sell out to EA or Activision? Will they get in bed with a much larger entity to make more money... We may all say; "No that will never happen blah blah blah.", but you would be surprised at how easily people can cave when tons of cash is waved in their faces. I truly hope this never happens but let's not forget that DICE was an amazing company in 2004-5 with a devoted and loyal fanbase that swore DICE would never let greed dominate their decisions... Then it all went downhill when they got in bed with EA. From that point on it was all about the money. ED, make it about your passion and put your customers first and the money will come. What you're creating is a niche market that you will dominate if you can make flight sims more of a norm in gaming.
  12. LOL, translation, YES, you need to pay to be RIO
  13. Can you fly this campaign with a partner?
  14. I've launched and flown for 5 minutes before I noticed that my wings were folded.... Hardly noticed any change in controls. Anyhoo.... Folded or not, once you go full throttle on the cat you will launch.
  15. Fair enough and since LOGIRich isn’t part of the warranty dept I’d recommend Wilbur81 ask to try my suggestion anyway.tell them that once you receive the defective unit you’ll cut the USB and this way you get no downtime. No offence to LOGIRich but the way I see it, the answer is always no until you ask and asking is free
  16. Refueling at whatever speed the tanker is at. I am experimenting with the AB while refueling but it's touch and go. Sometimes I find it's easier sometimes not. Usually when I do it successfully I don't use the AB
  17. No, I mean being able to trim the throttle with a hat switch just like you'd trim pitch and roll. I have already set the curve on the throttle. That said, I'm getting better with AAR but I find it very frustrating that as soon as I hook up I'm flying right through the basket and need to back off my throttle a lot and then push it forward a lot to stay on speed. This is definitely an art and skill because once I'm dialed in, the jet just floats there taking fuel like it is no big deal. Neat but tricky to get into this kind of formation flying. Getting easier but I would still like to have a throttle trim. It would make these things easier.
  18. Well I don’t know about the Warthog but the Logitech X56 is a little tricky and I suspect that comes from the engines response time on the Hornet which we all know is very slow compared to the F-15.
  19. This doesn’t make sense to me. Doesn’t the warranty department need the defective product in hand to determine if it’s defective? How would you be able to confirm that the product is defective from the owners house?
  20. I’ll try it. I might also try using the default keys on the keyboard. That might give me the tiny adjustments I need.
  21. Trim the throttle, like you can trim your pitch and roll.
  22. Does anyone know if it's possible to trim the throttle on the Hornet? This would help when doing AAR.
  23. I'll second F900EX's opinion.. RMA IT NOW!!!! Don't try to fix it because you may void the warranty. What I've done in the past with RMA's is ask the agent if they can place a hold on my CC for the full amount of a new one, send me a new one with return shipping enclosed. I get the new one, they get the RMA'd one and once they receive it and confirm that the little axis thingie is indeed defective they keep the RMA'd one, remove the hold on your credit card and you keep the new one they sent. This allows you to never experience any down time with your setup. I've never tried it with Logitech but I'm sure they will do it for you. Asus didn't allow this but when my motherboard failed under warranty, they confirmed with some higher ups and allowed me to do it. Even if it's not their policy, they may say yes.
