  1. When can we expect to start placing orders?
  2. Can you rotate the manifold pressure and RPM gauges to the right positions?
  3. Very nice.
  4. Ask in the beta testing thread, it's in the mods section.
  5. Yes, very much interested.
  6. No, TrackIR 4 works fine too. In all seriousness though, once you've used head tracking in a sim, you can't go back without feeling frustrated by its absence. Check out freetrack or facetracknoir if you're on a tight budget, but trackir 5 works out of the box and from what I understand does a better job than the alternatives. A well worthy investment, you wont regret it.
  7. No this isn't normal, my warthog is dead centre and has no twist movement (although TMS right did just die on me :().
  8. I found the cause of the stuck MFCD button and it is to do with uMFCD. If you click any of the MFCD buttons in uMFCD and drag your mouse off the button with it still pressed, the button sticks on. You can do this across multiple buttons by simply dragging the depressed mouse over them. To clear them, you just have to click them again in uMFCD. I didn't try this with the CDU but I wouldn't be surprised if it is also the cause of Rivven's problem.
  9. Check your toe break configuration. I think the breaks are inverted by default.
  10. That was the video. Thank you Sokol1.
  11. Hi all. I'm looking for a video of a very specific joystick. I believe it was posted here on the (English) forums somewhere but I've been unable to find it (I vaguely remember the thread having something to do with mounting an X-52). The video is in russian and is demonstrating a custom built wooden joystick that was notable because of its lateral motion back and forth. I ask because i very much interested in the mechanism he used for lateral motion (and for that matter any other mechanisms that might allow lateral motion on a joystick). As a side note, I'd also be very much interested if anyone has come across any other interesting or unusual joystick mechanisms in their travels.
  12. I can't remember if it has been mentioned yet, but the CDU display still shows (unchanging) when I turn off the CUD. This was in the last beta version though, I haven't tested the new one yet.
  13. I've confirmed that the TGP stuttering and SPI loss has nothing to do with this mod.
  14. A clean install would be the obvious thing to try first.
  15. Finally got to sit down with the sim again but I wasn't able to reproduce my problem, I did come across another one though but possibly not related to this mod. A while into the flight (same as with the last problem), roughly 30 minutes after taking off, my TGP started to flicker black, not long after the flickering stopped and I would keep repeatedly losing my SPI and the TGP would stop tracking my target. Again I don't think would be caused by UMFCD but it might be possible. I'm not running any other mods and I haven't got the latest update yet (restrictive data limit unfortunately), I'm going to try a flight without UMFCD tomorrow and see what happens. The good news is that I did figure out how to use LGBs. :smartass:
  16. Another couple of bugs. The first one might be touchscreen related again. The same thing happened to me last night, OSB6 on the right MFD becomes stuck, this time while I was in TGP (I'm can't remember what it was last time), it was the button for the LSS or LSI (I can't remember exactly, I'm still learning). I don't have malfunctions on in the options. Basically I was doing a practice flight and firing off some mavericks, and I'd decided to give LGBs a go to see if I could figure it out before reading the manual. Needless to say I couldn't get them to track the laser so I started pressing buttons (on the exported MFCDs, not the actual cockpit) to see what they do and that's when OSB6 stuck. In the cockpit visually it looked as though a number of buttons on both MFCDs where pressed in, but going around and clicking them all (this time in the cockpit) didn't solve the problem (although it did unstick the animations). The purple box that appears on the MFCD when you press a button was stuck on the screen 9pictured) but would momentarily disappear if you pressed or held the button (both in game and on exported displays). Powering the MFCDs and the CICU off and on again didn't clear the problem. I will be testing this one again tomorrow with the aim of reproducing it. This image now brings me onto the next bug. When trying to clear the previous fault, I started the task manager and killed ultraMFCD, a while later both MFCDs and the CDU display popped up on my primary screen similar to above (the above image was taken after I'd turned off both displays so I could see and later turned one back to take a screenshot), annoyingly while I was nearing final approach. I assume this is because your software changes DCS' display settings to display 4 outputs and with the software not running to tell them where to go, DCS just renders them on the primary monitor; but I just thought I'd mention it.
  17. OK, I just took it out for another test flight, the drag issue with the displays has been solved (although you obviously know about the new CDU issue), the double click issue on my touch screen has also been solved. The previously mentioned problem with the control positions display is still there (I didn't try a training mission, so I don't know if there is any difference in the tutorial markers). TV mavs are still displaying in colour.
  18. Is the cover your design?
  19. Very fancy, that is one premium product you have there. Out of interest did the have a paperback option and how much cheaper would it have been?
  20. I would instantly buy a replacement slew control.
  21. Another possible bug found. I just connected my second monitor's touch screen capability (the infra-red bezel kind if that matters). Now when I try to click the MFCD's buttons with my finger, it registers as a double click. Through testing, it seems that holding my finger there highlights the button, but as soon as I take my finger away it double clicks When using the CDU however, the regular grey buttons only register a single click (I didn't try the on screen buttons).
  22. Unfortunately there is no way I can show you this bug as DCS only takes a screen shot of my primary monitor. My (2) monitors are set up with the primary in the centre and the second to the left of it (which is why this program is of so much use to me given DCS' limitations with exported screens). When in game with both MFCDs powered down, if I try to display the flight control positions (RCtrl+Enter), the diagram seems to try and display in the left exported MFCD (although only the top is visible in the bottom left of the display. Also, when doing the training missions, the yellow button/switch cues are leaving ghost artefacts over the exported displays. Both these problems only occur when the MFCDs (and CDU) are powered down and not displaying anything, the control inputs cannot be seen at all when they are powered up.
  23. With my X52, I took this profile (http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/181028/) and modified it. I assigned rudder trim to the small rotary and zoom on the slider. I don't use the pinkie for anything. EDIT: I also unassigned everything on the mouse wheel, that got annoying very fast.
