  1. A little sad, but it was not unexpected and I understand why the delay. Still, the idea of over wing vapour excites me and the rapid progress on the spit is encouraging.
  2. Anyone wanting a hud could probably just build a holographic one using a regular lcd, a lens and a combiner.
  3. Could it be directX causing the issue?
  4. I'm quite happy to see the A-10C, as for where, it's more of a what; I actually want to see what clouds look like in the new engine.
  5. I would imagine it's more for space saving than anything else.
  6. Delete your curves.
  7. The brake can be assigned as an axis. I currently have it assigned to my right toe brake. EDIT: As can the shkval. I believe that indicates both require analogue axis. If I were designing a stick, I'd have the dual trigger system and set up the button on the large trigger as a shift key, then just set weapon release to operate when the shift key and small trigger are pressed together. You'd just need to make sure the large trigger operates before the small one. I'm not too sure how the real thing operates though.
  8. Check that your view axis in game are correct and check their tuning as well.
  9. DCS: E-2 when?
  10. I like the first one, but it's going to need to be mountable on a much thicker desk. The second one I don't think is very good. Mostly because either it would be so far away from you that you wouldn't be able to reach it comfortably or it would be close enough that pulling it back would cause the shaft to hit the chair edge. I don't know about your chair, but my seat is 54cm deep.
  11. Where'd you get the pedals themselves?
  12. Yes, go to your control binding, select the aircraft you wish to map controls to, there is a button in the bottom left for modifiers, click it, add a new modifier (remember to select the controller your shift button is on). That button you just added will now act as a shift function for that aircraft, you now just need to map controls normally using the new shift key where you want to.
  13. Can the kneeboard be enabled for all aircraft? Obviously if the program displaying exports based on what aircraft it detects, I would imagine it would be easy to enable it for all aircraft.
  14. Sadly the pro version is wired differently (14 pin plug). Thanks anyway.
  15. My bad, I thought you were installing the software off the disk.
  16. Has anyone come across someone rewiring the X-52 pro (stick only) into something like a bodnar board? I ask because I'm currently merging an X-52 and a sidwinder FFB2 (surprisingly easy to do) and would like to avoid having to plug into the X-52 throttle (which I don't need in lieu of my warthog throttle) as I'd rather not have it cluttering up the desk.
  17. I think he was asking if it's not yet possible for your ownship to show on the kneeboard.
  18. Uninstall them again and LEAVE THEM UNINSTALLED. It should work natively.
  19. EF2000. Never really took it seriously, was too young, but even today I will occasionally in DCS just light the burners from my parking spot and see if I can take off (hasn't worked yet).
  20. That's great, but I said to uninstall them.
  21. Have you installed the driver? Mine works fine without the driver, so you could try uninstalling that.
  22. I find that if I keep them locked I get uneven responses from them (only a little difference though), so in a twin engine jet I keep them unlocked.
  23. Why would that be unexpected? I'm pretty sure the sun is brighter than the HUD.
  24. The mic switch has 5 functions, try pressing it inwards.
  25. User name/my saved games/dcs/missions/campaigns I think. I can't actually check at the moment.
