  1. Hey Leatherneck guys! First off, what an amazing module you guys have created! Great job! I'd like to report a bug though: When having nukes equipped (both the RN-28 and RN-24), the landing gear bay-doors disappear (see screenshots). When equipping other armament, the doors are there. DCS version: 1.2.10.32095 NVidia Driver version: Windows: 7 sp1 PC specs: see signature Ran a DCS repair, didn't fix. Screenshots of problem: Hopefully this helps you guys making the sim even better ;) Koek out!
  2. I also play lots of different games besides DCS (which is barely a game, but for this instance let's consider it as one :) ) But bought seperately for DCS: Warthog HOTAS - €300,- CH Pedals - €70,- Thrustmaster MFD's - €70,- TrackIR - €100,- DCS Modules - I own all of them, including Black Shark 1. So that would be roughly €400,- Grand total: €940,- (~US $1200,-) Which are btw €940,- very well spend and without any regrets :D
  3. You should be glad they even put it on a sale, ED is in no way obliged to sell their products for a lower price than what they want. Heck, even if they'd want to ask 100 bucks per module, they still can. It's their product, don't like the price? Don't buy it. About Steam being cheaper than ED: get over it, that's how sales work. You know that if you buy a product, even in a sale, there is a chance you find it even cheaper afterwards. That's just how stuff works, like it or not. And besides that, let's be honest, where would you find simulators with the quality of ED's product, for the price they sell them for?
  4. You had my curiosity, now you have my money
  5. Yay, bought it :D Let's hope we'll experience the the wait for November as short  Now if only I could kill the time between now and November with the MiG-21 and/or Hawk :music_whistling:
  6. Nice video. Almost scares me how complex the plane seems, but still can't wait for it! Great job so far LN Studios!
  7. I'm seriously engaged in this simulator as well, but due to my lack of time/unregular playing hours, I don't want to join a squadron (and I think many players are in a similar situation). With your discount rule, that would mean that even though I'm an active, ED supporting player I don't get a discount, while equally active squadron member DO get a discount. I think that would not be fair... Thus, I voted NO.
  8. Are you sure AA hit you? The elevator looks so perfectly nice and clean ripped off that you'd almost thinks its a visual error...
  9. Understandable, too much power to compute I guess? :D Is a proper mushroom cloud possible however (in EDGE maybe?). Would be nice to at least have a stunning visual effect :)
  10. Came home from work at 17:15, saw the news on facebook, bought it, was flying it at 17:25 :pilotfly: Plane stalls way faster than I expected though, already crashed it multiple times :P Try to repair DCS world (start menu -> all programs -> eagle dynamics -> dcs world -> repair dcs world)
  11. All I can say now... YAY NUKES!!!! The explosion causes some graphical glitches however (flashing ground/crater after explosion), and unfortunately there is no mushroom cloud (I love mushroom clouds :music_whistling:) For those not able to check the nukes, two are implemented: the RN-24 and RN-28. Can't wait to drop them myself!!
  12. I have a strong feeling that it won't be released in July, dunno why... Hope that I'm wrong...
  13. I think your senses told you wrong, I'm more of a KA-50 kind of guy... However, that's not the point of this. The thing is, eventhough you're not an F-15C expert (neither am I, just take a look at my first post and Excorcet's answer to it as a proof), if you feel like something is incorrect on the PFM, explain what you think is wrong, maybe you're right and things can get patched. That way the remarks you're giving can be used to make an already awesome simulator even more awesome... And by the way, you contradict yourself by first saying the PFM is a joke, and later on saying you're no F-15C expert. How would someone who's not an F-15C expert be able to judge an F-15C PFM?
  14. At least explain what is wrong with the PFM according to you. Calling the current PFM a joke, without explaining why, doesn't help making it better, but quite frankly only makes you look like an ass... Describe whats wrong => devs can change it if necessary. On the super cruise thing; if what your saying is true, than it's indeed a bug I guess, at least for as far as I know, the F15 is not able to perform super cruise, right?
  15. Nice pics! (especially no 16 :D -- EDIT -- and 36, 45, 56 and 74. If that's got anything to do with the US Air Force, Imma join them ASAP :megalol:)
  16. That system wont run it at all. Your CPU is way too weak, not to mention your graphics card. Why is there even 7 gb of RAM in that PC, massive overkill... I'm afraid you're looking at replacing the whole PC. You'll need a new mainboard to fit a new CPU. Your current RAM is probably DDR2, so you need a new set of DDR3 RAM to fit into the new mainboard as well. The graphics card definitely needs to be upgraded. Most likely, the power supply unit of the PC is too weak to provide enough juice for a new system, so you'd need to replace it as well. Do you know what connector your hard drive and DVD player use? It might still be an IDE connector, nowadays everything is connected through S-ATA, and most mainboards don't even feature IDE connectors anymore. If you are willing to buy a new PC, I'd suggest you make a new topic in the hardware section of this forum. I recommend building your own PC (at least choosing the parts for it), and not buy a pre-assembled PC.
  17. Agreeing partially with you. IMHO Hardline is fun, but not as a stand alone pack. It should be a expansion pack for BF4, costing something like 25 euro's, but I'm definitely not gonna pay the full price of €50,-. Battlefield unfortunately goes down the COD road, a shame to see such an awesome franchise digging it's own grave...
  18. Yup, you'd say that developing it for PC as well would be fairly easy, but apparantly thats not true...
  19. Even if it only remotely is as awesome as GTA San Andreas was, I'd be sooooo happy. Only thing I'm curious about is if my rig will run the game properly (i7 2600K, 16Gb RAM, GTX 770 2gb @ 1920 * 1200)...
  20. I expect similar mod abilities as in GTA 4. Original announcement here by the way: http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52261/
  21. Personally I'm really content with my CH Pro Pedals. Bought them together with the CH Yoke second handed for €70 (~$90). Both things are as new. My suggestion is, if you have a limited budget, to check e.g. Ebay a lot. There are always people who want to get rid of their stuff and sell it for way less than what they could get for it.
  22. Hey all, Obviously, this is a flight sim community, so maybe this news is not that appropriate to post here, but it's chit-chat so I'll just try it :) Personally, I like to play other kinds of games besides flight sims, mainly RTS and shooters. I'm a big fan of the Grand Theft Auto series, and now finally GTA V has been announced to be released for PC! (and XB-one and PS4) I'm really excited for it, and am wondering if other people in this community also look forward to this game. Below the teaser trailer that Rockstar released at the E3 meeting in LA. Koek out
  23. Looks stunning Cobra and team! Keep up the great work, can't wait to fly this beauty myself! :pilotfly::thumbup:
