I would expound upon the technology but it would rehash what others are already aware of and it is in use by the testers as u read this. Might want to search the forums for more information on this subject. As of now U are behind in the knowledge of it thus far. (not a put down just need to catch up to us.)

No solution to that, other than setting the resolution to the a level that allows fonts to be readable. I set DSR to the highest Resolution and had the same issue. I lowered it until I had a legible font size. Bigger the screen the more legible the font. I would love to see DCS on a 50" with DSR.

Not only that, He has turned off his page file. a mistake in a DX9 software package. It looks for it upon large file transfers and being older software it doesn't take advantage of the improved instruction set in newer CPUs. U have put a Volkswagen engine in a Ferrari and can't understand why the transmission isn't creating more torch under load.

It has to!!!:huh: If EDGE is rendering the images (even the old map) the work load is decreased. It has to help FPS. but if U mean image quality, then most likely correct. I read a thread indicating the graphics were lowered to allow better fraps. Had to do with the level of Polygons used to draw the image to the screen. It mentioned the levels in DCS were equal to a 3D movie. So here is hoping that edge will allow the increased level of polygons that will surely add to image quality. That statement referred to the Jets in DCS. I don't know if buildings and trees, bushes and such had high levels that were dumbed down for FPS purposes. Hopefully so.

Take a look at the other thread about DSR. Has nothing to do with the DCS title itself, but the Hardware that it is run on. Well worth a look.

Absolutely Correct!!! This is the best thing that's come to DCS sense the announcement of the new image generator (Soon to Be a part of DCS). I noticed immediate higher graphics quality in game. The MFCDs display a largely improved image quality. I can't get over the quality of the Targeting Pod now. out standing. I can see incoming missile from further away now also allowing greater Situation Awareness for sure. Exciting times for DCS and Nvidia users.

It is buggy for now. I always save it then run it if I want to review it. and even that doesn't always work.

MSVCR110.dll This error is typically related to the Microsoft Redistributed packs. Found Here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2019667 Also available in ur dcs eagle Dynamics DCS World dstr folder. that also has the DX 9 ver. make sure u do allow DX9 to install it is not the same as DX10 and 11.

U have lost that "Loving Feeling". As U wish for a speedier track record from Eagle Dynamics. (Small Group of individuals) with a dream. That dream being, to put together the best Military Aviation Simulator on the Market. The negative things u mention are due to the "Timing" of this product. Not to mention the small groups budget. When U include all variables in the making of this "Great Simulator" i.e. Timing (outdated DX ver.) Budget (To small) but only when it is compared to the juggernauts that have huge budgets large marketing teams and a plethora of programmers, this group of individuals with a dream held there own against major corporations. Few in history have done anything close to that in business today. The first company that comes to mind is NIKE selling shoes from the trunks of their cars. Now look at them. We are in the early stages of a major (future) Corporation. Enjoy the ride. After the bugs are worked out and the 3rd. party developers are moving forward with additions to DCS. will they then not have time for the "Spit and Polish" U so desire? I get the same level of frustration U do. Then I imagine that small group of guys in that little office (There were Pictures of it earlier) and I realize the level of work needed to accomplish what they have so far. It is then I am able to forgive the level of bugs and the lack of speed we have grown used to from the Big Box Corporate Marketing Juggernauts. And I jump into their Forums with the "Ask not What DCS can do for me. But What I can Do for DCS". and assist them by way of my PC. repair and Windows knowledge. Makes me feel part of a team doing great things with very little. "Never have so Few done So Much for So Many". See U in the not so friendly Skies.

Being talked on target during a TIC. with FAC. would be absolutely immersive to me. I have read everything I could find on that War.

+1 Pulling off target I might take a few shots as I line up with an evasion maneuver, but this is rare as the separation is usually to far off to line up and evade.

2FPS That PC. is no where near the minimum in requirements.

The gains between those ram timings are minimal and in some software non existent.

That's a really good Question. Conceptually speaking, it would defeat the purpose if it doesn't.
