Big fan of VR and the Aero certainly has my interest. I reverted to my QHD 32" monitor awhile back, as G2 clarity was insufficient for DCS multi-player flying. 2 things are keeping me on the VR sideline for now: inability to acquire a high-performance GPU, and announcement of the Meganex.

DCS 2.7.10.18996, Win 10, Nvidia 2070 Super, No mods. Just since Jan. 27 DCS OB update ocean has a dark blue band from horizon. Can anyone explain how to correct?

Works properly for me using the Auto-Start key assignment and latest DCS open beta. Check your DCS log for any clues. When I have had the issue you describe, I have always found a lua script error in the macro_sequencies file, preventing it from running.

CCIP target point may be inaccurate, but I have had good success rippling 2 with 150 FT intervals.

I have used Waypoint Editor with Hornet for a couple of years. Functions well, with 2 caveats. the Quick Capture hot key does not work (the GUI button does work) and waypoints can not be captured in ocean areas. Ocean area waypoints must be entered into the GUI manually. The hot key for Capture From F10 Map does work, as well. I have also used The Way program. It works as advertised, but lacks the pre-programmed weapoin target feature of Waypoint Editor. The Waypoint Editor developer, Santi__, seems to have abandoned this work. I initiated a couple of Github issues and attempted to contact him with no joy.

I strongly recommend you go for the 3090 and sell me your 3080.

I have found that the following procedure works in DCS at least 80% of the time for slaving the MAVF to the TGP. One of the main keys is to switch the MAV to narrow FOV, while it has FOV priority, before invoking the TGP page. Second key, to get a good MAV slave on a second target, is to merely invoke the TGP offset (+ symbol) after designating the new target. I have no clue why this logic works. I love VR, but have reverted to head tracking for now for the improved FPS and visuals. I could go for the Aero if consumer reviews confirm the touted leap in visuals in DCS. I will also have to get my hands on a high end GPU, tho.

Well, the key or me is that the aircraft also must be moving for the arrows to appear. I was trying to change the HOME WP while the aircraft was still parked. No go.

I know how to set the FPAS HOME WP. After an initial selection, however, the adjusting arrows disappear, so how can the selection be subsequently modified??

Because ED is planning, at some far future date if history is any guide, to introduce its own mission planning system which will apply to other aircraft.

I can not get Quick Capture hot key to function. Still a very useful tool.

In this instance a few month's patience might avoid severe case of buyer's remorse.

My advice: Do nothing now. Next gen hardware will be forthcoming in next few months. Varjo Aero is the first.

Can the Hornet radar modeled in DCS guide 2 sparrows in TWS mode to separate targets? In TWS with L&S target designated, designating a second target invokes a small circle inside the second target radar symbol. What does that circle symbol signify?
