G2 has the best resolution available in hobbyist VR heaedsets. HOWEVER, you should be aware that many G2 users with Ryzen 5XXX series CPUs and X4XX and X5XX chipset motherboards have encountered serious issues with USB connectivity. Where can I find detailed explanation of AI behavior with respect to the Hornet comm menu commands? Seems absent from Flight Manual and some are vague. For example, "Engage My Target": air, ground, both, radar designated, FLIR designated? "Engage Ground": vehicles, structures, both? "Engage Enemy": any enemy air or ground target at wingman's discretion? Any restrictions? "Engage Mission": once, until dakota, until all targets destroyed, only those assigned in Advanced Waypoint Options?

I have 32" 1440p and am very please with its visual characteristics. I think at 32", 4K will provide degraded performance with little perceivable visual enhancement.

Ryzen 5 5600X, X570 MB, Nvidia RTX 2070 Super. I am getting much smoother video performance after setting PCIe to GEN 3 from AUTO. Visual observation only. No hard data. YMMV

I had similar issue, but only the sound stopped working. Plugged into Aorus X570 mobo USB. Switching to PCI USB hub port solved problem.

TX, but I had no desktop window available. Answer for me was to press keyboard WIN key when in CH to get the app selection panel, which included the desktop. Google is your friend (but could also be your enemy, I think).

Since I have habitually avoided the cliff house, how specifically would I get the desktop or DCS icon to show up there? My CH has game demos, as well as wall panels for email and video viewing, etc., but no desktop.
