  1. No problem. That thread is also one of the more awkward ones here on EDs and I intentionally linked that post only. It's quite well-hidden in there. (Ohh, I just see my signature. I didn't intend to hint at that at all, although the context might imply otherwise)
  2. That's the most comprehensive I've found so far: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1724366&postcount=103 It's a heck of a post and has more info than most threads here... Edit: I still have the Ground Weapon Employment Manuals from the 25th VFS, but since I can't find an official link to them anymore, I don't think I'm supposed to upload them here. Maybe @Eddie knows more about that and if it would be ok to distribute them. If they were pulled, there's a reason for that and I respect that. If no, I can give you a link later.
  3. If not done so yet, -Install Teamspeak Client (http://www.teamspeak.com) -Go to settings/options/capture -make sure mic is working -set a push to talk (that does everyone a favour) -Find the details of a server (81.19.212.185 for the 223rd) -Click Connections/Connect and enter details -log in (no pass for the 223rd) -have fun Edit: Some might consider it uncareful to post mail and skype addresses in public boards.
  4. @Torino, @Xavven I wasn't as kind as I should have been, either. In fact, I was rude. Torino apologized for his response, and I realized I should, too. Sorry Torino!
  5. Edit: Operator error: Obviously, that freq isn't possible with the radio... Quick question: What are typical things to check when TARS is working correctly for AM/FM, but on the UHF sometimes displays 0.000? In our case, we wanted to use 221.000, but were only able to use 225 and higher. Dialing the '5' to other digits made TARS show UHF set to '000.000' in Teamspeak and we couldn't use the UHF radio at all. Going back to 225 immediately allowed us to speak over UHF again. Thanks! Nevermind, Supersheep
  6. Lets see why this doesn't fly: -Trainer needs tons of time -Trainer guarantees a standard -Trainer cannot plan the progress -Yet, Trainer would be liable for result That'd cost you dearly. What I don't understand is why you ask to be allowed to pay, and don't ask for training (carefully read the first post again). From here on, I'm with Neon67.
  7. You'll have a hard time finding commercial training and IMO that's not how one would approach the sim. A big part of the fun is figuring out how to do things. For the real deal, serve in the Air Force...
  8. It's back again, stop screaming.
  9. Copy. This does require fog of war=on?
  10. Can a Combined Arms player benefit from increased SA by third party tracking?
  11. Or "waiting to become the most important thing to allocate dev time to".
  12. If there are any inconsistencies with the translations (GER in my case), let us know (PM us) and we'll get that out of the way asap. Supersheep
  13. @Eno That's correct, too, of course. (I didn't want to say that thats not changeable. Default setting would have been clearer)
  14. Off Topic: What is the reason for that?
  15. Just wait until you hear of Topre switches. (Oops now I said it... :D)
  16. You know that Sobek made a joke when nobody realizes he was joking. :D
  17. /subscribed Thanks for bringing this up!
  18. Red -> perfect for gaming is a generalization. I do play some games on an IBM Model M, because being dang sure that the key was pressed can be much more important than fast cycle times. There are use cases for linear and for tactile switches, and it comes down to personal preference and the context.
  19. AFAIK, ripple distance isn't set. It is set for optimal blast coverage already, so you'd rather adjust your number of attacks or bombs per attack than the ripple spacing. I don't have a source handy right now, but will link if I find it.
  20. I know two girls who play DCS from Teamspeak and ingame, and heard from one other. Even if any more reason than common sense and privacy were needed, reading this thread alone is enough to not go into more detail. Supersheep
  21. You are a man of patience and talent.
  22. Sounds pretty doable to GER.
  23. ^^Per the title. I want to do that because the debriefing screen gives me an easy option to filter the list, which helps me quickly test a new mission. Thanks!
  24. I just had snow and no issue. Is it limited to dynamic weather? Mine was static... Edit: On an AMD Graphics desktop...
