  1. I own an X55 and have had no luck, and its very similar in the setup. I gave up in the end and setup bands in the Saitek software to to allow me to use it as a 4 way hat. Its still rubbish as a Hat switch though as (at least on the X55) its very spongy and difficult to be accurate with.
  2. When you double clicked the undes/nws button did you have the DDI as SOI?
  3. Assuming the flir is on the right DDI, Sensor select Switch right once will put it into stabilised mode, twice will put it into area track mode and three times point track. You can't slew it in area or point track so if you need to slew SSS another time to go back to INR mode.
  4. Not even remotely close, lot of broken stuff currently!
  5. Alternatively you could message BD when you find bugs, like myself and others no doubt have done and assist with sorting them out! I intend on playing through this many times, as to be honest some of the issues I have experienced are as a result of me learning as I go along. Not the mission!
  6. 1. There is a new ins alignment procedure. You can speed up the process by placing it in CV align, then on the HSI press the button for STD HDG". This align takes 90sec and once at 0.5 place the INS knob to IFA (not NAV) and it will then use GPS to keep the INS aligned. You can watch my stream from last night where I quick aligned. (from 2m30s in) 2. Bomb fall is likely because the INS did not align correctly.
  7. I had no issues last night with this and the aircraft flew fine behind the tanker. You could try half flaps as a starter? Worth checking to see if you have wake turbulence enabled in settings too.
  8. Change to Area Track with SSS and it will give you fixed coordinates.
  9. In flight align does fix this. Someone I flew with last night fixed it with IFA, takes a while but it does get there evtnaully!
  10. Came here to report this exact issue and glad I am not alone. For my HOTAS setup it's almost impossible to slew without adding a second TDC depress bind.
  11. Make sure master arm is set to Arm and you are in AG mode.
  12. Till the TGP update you can buddy lase the target for them. Or put the laser into Mark mode and use NVG for them to view it with mk1 eyeballs.
  13. Press cage/uncage and it slews the seeker to the radar locked target.
  14. Left Alt + @ (based on a UK keyboard layout) on the ground will open the rearm menu directly without the radio menu.
  15. Yes, this. The tutorial videos online all call for undesignate after each target is given to a bomb. But doing this recalls the pod to snowplough mode. I will give your procedure a test tonight. @silverdevil thanks, I will try it with JSOW rather than JDAM.
  16. I don't get a lot of time to play these days so could a kind person(s) help me better understand the TGP and undesignate since the major update a couple of months ago. I have watched Wags video on it. And I understand that the NSW/Undesignate button will now return the pod to snowplough mode. This function used to be carried out by the Cage/Uncage button but I believe cage/uncage now stows the pod. My question is related primarily to JDAMs and other GPS guided munitions. When I assign a target to a JDAM using the TGP in TOO mode, the lat/long is entered on the MSN page. However if I undesignate a target the pod returns to snowplough mode and I lose the target area. I am also unable to assign new location to a second weapon or the second TOO profile. Is there a new method of TGT Undesignate because I can't imagine this is by design, so I must be doing something wrong?
  17. I maybe didn't explain myself properly. Last night with TOO1 selected I used the TGP to designate a target. Changed to TOO2 and designated a second target. Upon selecting TOO1 again to confirm the location of the target noticed the lat/long was the same as TOO2 which it shouldn't have been. I repeated the process numerous times, with and without undesignating each time before changing TOO profile. I also had two others on our server confirm my findings and none of us were able to get it to store separate TOO location data. Each time the other profile was over written by the TGP. I am led to believe that its therefore a bug. PP coordinates work fine still with different PP profiles. Just not TOO and TGP designation.
  18. This doesn't work now since the TGP was updated. Any movement on the TGP automatically updates the target location in TOO mode, whether you have designated or not. Not sure if it's a bug the constant updating or the location, as currently it's impossible (that I can tell) to use TOO 2 as TOO1 is updated even if not selected.
  19. I change mine on whilst the game is running and then it just saves. Maybe try creating a new profile and make sure the file isn't read only in the save folder.
  20. You all really need to listen to this interview with Razbam. 3D modelers and coders are very different teams, and simple aircraft require a lot less work than modern fourth gen fighters! https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5yZWRjaXJjbGUuY29tLzk2MDY1ZWNhLTlkNGYtNDU5Zi05NTIxLWE1OGQyM2IxMTg5Ng&ep=14&episode=YzI3MTFjMTYtM2VjMi00N2FiLTg3ZWMtYTE2NzA5OTM3YzAy There is a strong possibility that this is a commercial order which may one day work its way back to DCS going on what Ron talks about in the interview. And for the love of God, please stop with the "get the F15e finished before working on anything else" or other such comments. It's tiring! Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  21. Press Rset on the right side OSB (Fourth down I think but can't remember exactly). Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  22. Slightly long press is required on the UFC on/off I have found. That said I recently noticed left mouse button micro switch on my mouse was faulty. And since sorting the spring out in the switch have less issues. Maybe your mouse is also faulty? Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  23. You can however move the TDC all the way to the top of the screen and back down and it will increase the range. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
