I find it confusing that whilst Razbam had the flight characteristics of the S Model of the MiG-19,or so they have told us,that they chose to model the less famous P Model,which because of it's aerodynamics is quite different. Would'nt it have made sense given this data available,just to have modelled the far more famous S Model,the flight model,obviously would have then been more accurate,saving themselves all sorts of headaches. So,leading on from this,please Razbam,how about giving us the S Model as soon as you can.....makes sense ?

No..you are completely wrong!...this user has paid a 'lot of money' for this module,it was WIP at the start,and although RAZBAM have corrected a multitude of silly bugs,the module many months later still requires attention.One of these issues being the paintkit. The point in question here,is the 'Paintkit'this was promised as part of the package,when the module was released,they assured the buying masses that this would be made available to them.Many users,on being given this promise made their purchase of the module thinking that this would be the case. If these modules were cheaper,we would all have a better attitude towards it,but they are not,they are expensive,now,if your happy with the current situation then that's your prerogative. But don't come on here and try and belittle other user's attitudes because they show a little more adult sense of financial awareness towards their module purchases,than you do.Trying to show someone up on this forum in the way you have is pretty low IMO,especially when you are the one,making the big point of behaviours towards life.

Completely agree,all the time the module was being sold to us the 'Paintkit' was on it's way.....'should be ready shortly after release',actual words from RAZBAM's Decoy. Now they want to concentrate on other projects,the majority of the sales are done,and the novelty of the thing has worn off,for them,we're now being informed 'please understand that it is a free feature that developers are not forced to deliver'. In a word.....PRICELESS !

Agreed.....My wish list of bugs/annoyances include fixing the starboard antenna,which is not textured or painted in any way,fixing the vital missing air release 'hiss' sound to wheelbrake,and at the top of the list having a paint kit made available. I fully appreciate the MiG-19P was a WIP when I purchased it,but months on,some of these very basic problems ought to have been addressed. As to the MiG-23....I also will not be purchasing it on release,I just haven't been that impressed on the way the MiG-19P has been updated by RAZBAM. It's just all very haphazard and amateurish.

Let's face it most DCS jet engine sfx have an uncanny resemblance to a certain ' Briggs And Stratton' sound. Unfortunately the MiG-19P is no different....it's a big pity,as it's DCS achilles heel. Re the MiG-21,Burning Bridge's external sound MOD easily puts the default ones in the shade IMO,1st Class effort Sir.

+1 I really feel duped......I purchased the RAZBAM MiG-19P on the promise/understanding that a paint kit would be made available to us within weeks of the release.This was directly their promise. Had I of known then,that it wasn't going to be so forth coming,if at all,I most certainly would not have been so quick to make my purchase. This paint kit has obviously been shelved for work on other projects....however,I,and I suspect many others,have learned a valuable lesson regarding RAZBAM modules......and their promises.

The Paint Kit is very important Razbam......we can then set about creating our own Polish skin with the correct Polish Airforce flags. What's the hold up please ?........the new module no doubt.

Excellent news heclak,the A-4E-C is an out of the box masterpiece,it's easily one of the best modules going,and it's FREE. Kudos to you and your team Sir,you have done a sterling effort on this aircraft and you deserve all the credit that's going. First Class

Months of no updates,no explanation from the devs.....just like the Yak-52,it's abandoned,ED may tell you otherwise,but the proof is pretty evident,and we're not fools. It's a pity,but this is becoming more and more frequent sadly with some DCS modules,it does make you wonder what you're buying into,especially after the debacle with the Hawk.

Hi,go into the Bazaar/World/Shapes folder and delete the R-3R.edm and R-3S.edm files.The updated missiles are in the Core Mods folder,but every time there is an update,the update will override the correct textures in that folder. Until ED deletes these permanently from the Bazaar folder,you'll need to do this after every update !,if you want the missiles to look correct when flying either the MiG-21 or the MiG-19. I have asked ED to fix this but it's fallen on deaf ears. EDIT: Not sure about the VSN Mod,but this deletion will fix the MiG-21Bis missile problem.

Ed.....Is there any reason why these low poly missiles cannot be deleted from the Bazaar/World/Shapes folder ?.....or are we destined to have to delete them ourselves after every date ? This problem still exists today https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3855290&postcount=27

No,I don't recall saying that....I specifically did not mention any names,but it is quite ridiculous that these guys can't even use the bonus points/monies that they have accrued to help pay for other modules. What else are they supposed do with this accrued points/money ? In short be very careful with these 'fantastic bonus reward schemes',they're certainly not worth getting excited over IMHO.

You might not have to wait until the summer.....if memory serves me well,there has been in the past,a May Day sale,as it is quite a special day for the Russians.
