I have been really enjoying my MiG-19P,she is a beauty,fun to fly and that bare metal skin is superb,wish the MiG-21 had the same metal finish. Yes,there are still issues which are missing or not completed,are'nt there with every new module ?....but RAZBAM appear to be on top of the situation ,so it can only get better. I'm also looking forward to the 'S' model being created as an future update too....this will be the icing on the cake for me personally. Great work RAZBAM

Bug....No,Unrealistic....Yes ROFL...I've got to ask......The aircraft is a 'Russian aircraft'......so why did the modeller,with all respect,see fit to chose another country to base his bort numbers on it ?.......am I missing something here? Surely it would've been best to base the numbering system on the Russian aircraft first,would'nt it ?.......or am I not being fair ? I've got to say this......that bare metal skin is superb,easily the best I have ever witnessed in DCS,I mean,it really is something special,first class and kudos to the modeller who created it.I take my hat off to you Sir/Madam. But......For me personally,this excellent skin is let down by the unrealistic bort numbering for it,which is a real pity. I'm sure I'm right in thinking that the 'majority' of DCS players will be flying the Russian version.....not any Hungarian,Czech or Polish MiG-19 variant.If I'm wrong,shoot me down in flames,but I don't think I am So I for one,I do hope RAZBAM give their MiG-19P bort numbering another thought.......that wonderful skin deserves it guys.

Nope,still no fix to date,the issue still exists.......it has been reported,but the devs have yet to give any clear indication of when it might be fixed,just the standard note from ED stating it's being looked into.......mind you the problem was first reported on 20th December 2018 ! In short having drop tanks on the P-51D at present only has a 'cosmetic' value,as their practical value is,to put it frankly.....porked !

Please Ed sort this out for us....we are having to delete these low poly R-3R.edm and R-3S.edm files from the Bazar/World/Shapes folder every time there is an update or we have to run a repair,it's just another problem that could be easily fixed in an update surely. These files are located within the Bazaar/World/Shapes folder and are unnecessary now,as far superior poly models are located within the Mig-21,MiG-19 etc Core Mods folders. This is a problem for us,because if you do not delete these files after an update or repair your aircraft,if loaded with these missiles,will use the low poly versions from the Bazaar folder,not the superior high poly missiles. This problem has been going on for nearly 4 years now,surely someone can resolve this issue,or if not,explain why there is a reason why it's not being addressed,thank you. After today's update the red star's on the Russian skins still have incorrect white borders. The ARK-5 antenna still appears unpainted,and it's lines or cords showing in the canopy glass externally,still haven't been fixed to show from an internal view. I was under the impression these were all fixed and were going to be added to today's update,they were even moved to the completed bugs section.Why inform us these bugs are completed,when we can all see they're not ? .......And these were some of the straight forward/simple visible bugs reported,don't want to feel ungrateful but...... Oh well,next update then ?

NO,no,no......Duster you do not have to reinstall DCS,all you need to do every time you either update or repair is to deletethe R-3R.edm and R-3S.edm files from the Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta \Bazar\World\Shapesfolder.

+1 Yes,totally agree YoYo on this issue,having the '0' in front of the main fuselarge number is very unrealistic,and I would agree again on the possibility of being able to utilize four number digits. The VPAF or Vietnamese Peoples Air Force which used the MiG-19 during the Vietnam war always used four figure numbers for their aircraft. Good Call mate
